The FSM
Not sure if the community has ever thought about this, but are there any guidelines for RP'ing reporters in countries besides your own? Do I need to get approval from every country I might want to ever send a reporter to beforehand or is it safe for me to assume that I can RP a reporter in any foreign country unless told otherwise. Subtleknifewielder
Not sure how that would be covered in the rules...
Zoot Zoot
no idea mate, but you are free to report in the Canadian Empire

Californian
If this somehow leads to someone bringing back bloggers I'm going to stab my eyes out ;s
Karl Martin
As long as those reporters do not commit acts of sabotage and the like, I don't see why not.
The FSM
Nah Californian, this is really just related to uberstein and I starting a BBC-esque global news network. I thought it would be cool if we could do reporting 'from the field.' Example, having a reporter on hand to comment on the air battle in the Carib. or something like that. Lynneth
Well, I guess reporters are fine in the GDR, though they're constantly under watch so they don't try to report too positively on the "bad guys" (meaning national socialists/natsoc nords, crazy rightwingers and people claiming Rational Communism is very bad and the people should feel bad) Edited April 13, 2010 by Lynneth
Californian
I'm fine with it.
king of cochin
You can send reporters to the Kingdom of Cochin. Pretty much a free country. Though if you something I dont like, I would just dismiss it as propaganda,
The FSM
haha, of course cochin or course. Though Uberstein and I are trying to be as unbiased as possible in our reporting.
Uberstein
Yep, thought my reporters DO get hazard pay if they visit countries that don't like Finland. So countries that don't like me, expect to get reporters who need money.

Executive Minister
I don't see why not, unless the owner of the nation RPs that there are no foreigners allowed or something.
Gunther
Well, like anything else in CNRP, if you are PMing the party and telling that person what you are doing ahead of time, there is nothing wrong with it. He may have some of his own reporters saying the same things or contradicting what your reports are saying. That would be a hoot.
Uberstein
Okay, who wants a war correspondent? First come first serve.

Pikachurin
As long as it's just reporting on stuff known to the IC public and they don't do anything else (like sabotage or spying), then I'm fine with it.
Voodoo Nova
To be safe, I'd ask permission from the person before reporting in their nation. This way there's no "Oh, I didn't say you could RP in my nation...blah, blah."
