Darth Andrew
Werbistan will be a year old on April 22nd. How much is the happiness bonus? Also, I am 20 days inactive on April 20th. Would it make sense to wait two extra days to collect taxes on my birthday? Or is the bonus just not worth it? Captain Nathan Brittles
This is more suited for the Question Center. Moved. The one year anniversary is +5 happiness. Whether it is going to be worth waiting 2 days to collect is going to depend on your income and if you're going to be buying any infrastructure as part of your current swap cycle. Is the income from 5 happiness times 20 days times your citizens minus the two extra days of bills greater than the collection from 2 days. If it is, wait, if not no point in waiting. Darth Andrew
5 happiness equals $10, right? Then yeah, it would be worth it. And buying a bunch of infra on the 22nd day (after paying bills, but before collecting taxes) would make the amount even greater, correct? Or am I missing something? Gopherbashi
If I were you, I'd collect taxes today (or at the very least, soon), so you'd be sitting right on 20 days once you hit your anniversary.
Darth Andrew
That makes sense. Done.
Harry Dresden
Also, keep in mind that if your nation was created after noon, your bonus will come on day 366, not day 365. Happy early birthday!
