If I was thinking of soft targets, FAN would be very very low on my list. Not to mention that FAN is treatyless by choice, so should they never be declared on no matter what?

Oh no, FAN certainly is no soft target, but the wider implications of attacking them are limited (or so one may think). And no of course they can/should be like anyone else, but the fact that they are the [i]only [/i]alliance really responded to in this whole mess is telling. Very telling.

To address your second point, it's not so extraordinary a thought, that someone might just hop in because they don't like us, or someone is close to FAN. I have no idea what to expect, when attacking FAN. Except that it will probably hurt
