erikz
really? You're going to defend those germans? Oh well. More fun for me. Fact checking is a pro tip for you. Sigh...

Haflinger
The purpose of this war in not disbandment, its to provide support for FOK and destroy as much infra and steal as much tech as possible. Nah, you guys are just here to use OUT as a shield. I expect this will work out just as well as the last time that was tried.

juslen
Nah, you guys are just here to use OUT as a shield. I expect this will work out just as well as the last time that was tried. OUT as a shield? We have maintained friendly relations with the alliances in OUT for years. R&R stayed behind when FOK and ODN left much to their disappointment. We supported upgrading OUT to a MDP back when most of the orange team was a member. And because of OUT R&R was able to establish healthy orange trades through coordination with ODN, IRON and FOK. Are you implying that we would not have entered this war without OUT? Because we are here to defend FOK. OUT is/was an ODP.. unless you seem to think that OUT protects us from being declared on by the other signatories of the treaty. But the last time I checked there are plenty of other alliances out there who don't belong to OUT. So your accusations are baseless. Unless of course you have some inside information on the alliance I have been a member of for over 3 years. A not very careful assessment of NSO's treaty partners will reveal a rather large one that happens to be in OUT. You guys aren't exactly the only allies FOK has; it's pretty obvious that you were selected for this war to prevent a counter from IRON. juslen
A not very careful assessment of NSO's treaty partners will reveal a rather large one that happens to be in OUT. You guys aren't exactly the only allies FOK has; it's pretty obvious that you were selected for this war to prevent a counter from IRON. If we are coming into a war on behalf of FOK, I have no doubt that our target was picked for that reason. But to imply that the only reason we are in this war is to use OUT and a shield is a bit disingenuous. We have been allied with FOK since August of 2007. It may take a bit more assessing on your part since you may not know about our history with FOK, but it only makes sense that we would be one of the very first alliances to come to their aid. Its unfortunate that this pits R&R and IRON up against one another due to NSO being one of their close allies, but we have always been dedicated to supporting FOK in any way we can. At the same time, I will not pretend that you do not bring up a very valid point. That being said.. whether people love or hate NSO we will fight them all the same. Though I would guess that they were chosen to try and bring in their allies; they're in like four different blocs and have MDoAPs with Sparta and Kronos (among others). I do wonder why VE haven't already come in though, given their eternal MADP. Probably some strategic shenanigans going on there.

It doesn't mean MADP. I don't know how their treaty is worded, but we @ FOK always write them up as at least an MDP. Also; our protectorates tended to help us, just as much as we helped them. Whether we like it or not strategy is key even if it puts alliances at odds with one another. With the messed up tangled treaty web its almost impossible to just pick a side and fight. A lot of good alliances are being dragged into this war and proper planning is essential. Like here I am in R&R.. which belongs to both LEO and SF.. and out of all those alliances only 2 of our allies are even involved at the moment. Do I worry? No, but I wonder, lol. Oh no, I wasn't mocking the other side or anything like that - objectively speaking RnR and GOD were both excellent choices for alliances to declare on NSO because of their connections. I don't see IRON declaring on RnR and declaring on GOD would bring a lot of pain down indeed - the threat of which I'm guessing is being used to try and keep IRON (and therefore TOP) out of the fight. Of course, IRON could simply bypass both of those alliances and activate the oA part of its treaty with NSO instead.
erikz
Probably a good idea to read what you actually quote next time. They can be asked to help: Article III - Socialism and Anime go together like 'rama lama lama ke ding a de dinga a dong'Should the SOS Brigade come under attack by a foreign power, the International, at the request of the SOS Brigade, shall immediately provide military assistance as well as, but not limited to, financial, political and other such means of assistance that it has at its disposal. Should the International find itself under attack, the SOS Brigade is encouraged, but is not obligated to provide the International with such assistance as it is able to afford, be it military, political or financial in nature. It's kind of ODP like from the bottom up. From top-down its an MDP. Conclusion: it's not unlikely at all that the guy insulting R&R is going to fight on the same side of this war. I am notorious for quoting people and then veering away from my original response and adding a bunch of other stuff that may or may not be related to what the other person said. Almost anything can happen, but what can you do? We enter these wars because we have to not because we have confidence that things will go our way.
