Sigh.

The twenty thousand men and women, 500 Special Forces operatives among them, departed, escorted by an Aircraft carrier, a destroyer, and three submarines. It would be a long trip, but they would get there sooner or later.

OOC: Wait, Lavo, don't you have a canal linking the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea?

OOC: I'd like to direct some attention to this thread please.

Ideally I'm hoping it may be able to clarify the situation OOC so we can sort through everything else IC in a slightly more streamlined fashion. I'll be doing a more in depth IC post when I get home.

Thank you

The Slavorussian government finds this logic to be flawed. Evidence supports that fact that Grøenlandian government was preparing to bandwagon a war started by their allies in Nordland despite not having the necessary treaties or any prior contact with Slavorussia merely for the reason of stealing a Russian city away from Russians and deporting them from their country. You had every intention to invade us if we hadn’t surrendered.

You were rewarded for your complicity and for being a good little puppet, with territory on Russia’s northern coast, but when the opportunity arose to repair relations with Slavorussia and return the city to the rightful owners you didn’t do it.

But that‘s not the point. Military bases in territories like Arkhangelsk or Equador, are needed to defend the population from invasion. The point is that Louisiana's purely military outpost in Europe serves no purpose besides to giving an American country a foothold in Europe to go who knows what.

Mr. Justinian, the work of your propaganda corps never ceases to amaze me.

The FRG had no intention to join that particular war, we specifically stated our neutrality. Mind disclosing any of your fabricated evidence for your incorrect assumptions? We also didn't deport any citizens as much as you might like to think. Any unhappy citizen is allowed to leave, we do not move people against their will.

As for repairing relations, we indeed gave 99% of our Russia holdings back to the the Slavic Empire which held the surrounding area. We also maintained good relations with them. Since taking the land you have acted nothing but hostile to us, why on Earth would we give the city to a nation that hates our guts?

OOC:Edit: Fixed name.

Since taking the land you have acted nothing but hostile to us, why on Earth would we give the city to a nation that hates our guts?

"Two men stand in a room; One holding a gun to the other's head. The man with the gun pressing into his temple yells 'WHY?! Why are you doing this to me? Why are you threatening to shoot me?!' The man with the guns replies, 'I wouldn't be holding the gun against your head if you weren't holding that knife to my throat!'"

"Hostility begets Hostility. If you gave up the city, the hostility would likely end, but you refuse because the nation is being hostile."

We no longer own the city. Learn to map read before commenting and making silly analogies please.

OOC: It can fit CVs through it, so they can all pass through.

OOC: Excellent. :)

Please, it’s impolite to address the Emperor by his first name without using his proper title or rank. However that’s far less important than whom you should be addressing, it isn’t His Majesty that you should be addressing, it’s Prime Minister Medvedev, or the government in general since they released the statement.

As far as our “fabricated evidence” as you call it, all you have to do is look to your statements made during the war to see that you were getting ready for war. If Nordheim asked you were ready to bandwagon an aggressive war against Slavorussia, thereby playing the good puppet state and acquiring some territory.

We’re not going to drag up the legitimacy of the Slavic Empire’s territorial right but we will refute your claim that we’ve been nothing but belligerent to the FRG. When a nation shows belligerence do they allow open borders with an enclave city within it’s borders? Do the allow the free desemination of ideals, goods and culture to flow between that border? Do they allow troops and military equipment to be transported to that city for it’s defense from the first nation?

No they do not.

A short statement from the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs

"While we will not specifically support any side, we will merely state that Viniland will not allow any European troops to set foot in the Americas and will militarily support Louisiana if that be the case. If you want to take the war somewhere other than Europe then you probably shouldn't."

"This war is simply to remove Louisiana from Europe. We have no interest in touching their American assets"
