Un4Gvn1
With careful consideration of various factors United Purple Nations has decided to cancel our Optional Defense Pact with The Phoenix Federation. Per Article V of the Pact: Article V: CancellationIf either signatory finds that this agreement is no longer in their best interest, they may cancel the agreement with seventy-two (72) hours written notice, or immediately by mutual consent. TPF was notified Friday, January 8 at noon Central Time. The treaty expires at noon today (about 2 hours 20 minutes after this announcement is posted). We are open to considering future treatied relations with TPF should situations in both alliances warrant. Our best wishes to the members of TPF. Desperado
With the changeover and the loss of GLU to the dreaded RL (one day our CB will mature and we will be able to finally declare on it) communication stymied between our two alliances. We wish UPN the best in their endeavors on purple and congrats on winning the recruiting contest
