Emir Saduyalev
Dear people that know this game better than I do, When I joined the game, the guy that showed me this said that people couldn't declare war on your for like 3 or 4 days after you just started your nation. I figured I would have some time to try this all out and figure out what I wanted to do with my nation. I started my nation Tuesday and I was declared war on and apparently put into a state of Anarchy yesterday afternoon. Was my buddy wrong or did the game's date system have a glitch? Just wondering, Emir Saduyalev
Snow Dan
Actually, to avoid wars completely, you'd have to be in Peace Mode. Most people would stay out of Peace Mode, since it weakens your economy over time. However, for your first 7 days, you would be spared the economy penalty, so you should spend your first week in Peace Mode. My guess is that this is what your buddy was trying to remember. The Icemark
I believe you are only safe for the day you created your nation, or 24 hours, one or the other.
Tocsii
As Snow Dan said, the Information Index states: "New nations get a 7 day grace period when in peace mode to allow them to learn the game without receiving any economic penalties."
