Schattenmann
Wish you'd stuck it out, but it's your alliance. So... has there been any successful attempts to create an alliance on Red yet? It clearly depends on what you consider "success" to encompass. To be snarky about your wording, several alliances were successfully created on Red hurrr; FIRE, Crimson Guard, Cult of Justitia, The Destiny Project, The Moralist Front, IRON, NPO, Christian Coalition of Countries, Knights of Ni!, Socialist Workers Front, Soviet Union, United Earth Directorate et al. To be more serious; yes, CoJ continues to succesfully meet its aims. We're not growing at a rate that has made us large, so I'm sure that even if your definition of "successful" doesn't simply boil down to "big" then at least in most people's perception we're not successful. However, we are keystone players in an economic bloc that has leveled the field on Red; we have more quality treaties with our 2 ODPs than most alliances with 4+ MADPs; and we have a developing internal system that is superior to the McAlliances that are outpacing us in growth yet manage to fall apart or merge after existing for a third (or less) of the time we've been around; and while we have not interested swarms of newbs, we have attracted and retained former presidents, triumvirs, and ministers of sanctioned alliances (whom I, vainly, assume to know when they've found a quality alliance to join). I am going to agree with this man here. If your goal, as an alliance, is basically live through all troubles, keep living, and... well.. keep living, then you are a successful alliance as long as more than 1 person is with you. This is an idea that has kept my alliance going, even though we aren't large (and get a lot of bad rep from Browncoats 1.0). We, as a community have said our goal is to stay together. Therefore we are successful (though we're not on red, I'm merely demonstrating a point) in our own minds. With that in mind, many red-team alliances have been successful so far, including the Cult of Justitia.

Murtagh
Sorry to see you guys go down, you were a fun group indeed. In correspondence with whats already been said regarding red team alliances; a lot of people seem to ignore that fact that a large number of most micro alliances on any color don't end in a long life. Creating an alliance is undoubtedly difficult, and it often times ends less than the creators hoped, but the fact that some of these alliances have fallen through are hardly directly related to the fact that they're on Red.
