In the past the Haruhiist Empire has held diplomatic relations with Transvaal, and thus it's successor state Dai Etania Teikoku inquires if a booth at the Expo is available for our nation. If this is allowable, we will send Kagami Hiiragi to represent us along with representatives from Hikari Enterprises Design Bureau.

Excellency,

In the interests of furthering relations with our neighbors across the sea as well as the history that has existed between both Promised Land and the Hanseatic Commonwealth. The Queendom of Australia would be more than happy to request a pavilion to showcase Australian, art, architectural designs, music, and other cultural achievements. The necessary materials and displays will be brought over in time and the exposition of our designs will be head by Ambassador Teresa Lidstrom, in addition, Lady Tintagyl will be able to make an appearance as Governor of Nieu-Hansa as well. We look forward to the meeting.

Sincerely,

The Kingdom of Cochin thanks Transvaal for the space allotted to us. We were planning to bring in working models of some of our more successful products and wonder whether Transvaal would permit heavy freight air transports flying in from Bosaso to deliver the said equipments? Is there any restrictions in bringing combat equipment for displays? We are enquiring regarding our MetalStorm small arms and Area defense weapons and Bali Area Defense Systems.

If the Haruhiist Empire is willing to (re-)establish diplomatic relations, then we see no reason why Hikari Enterprises Design Bureau could not have a booth.

Botha International Airport in Johannesburg would be able to handle heavy freighters so permission is granted. As for anyone bringing in armaments and weaponry for display, we request that all no ammunition is brought into Transvaal and all weapronry must be stored and displayed in a "safe" mode whilst on the fairgrounds for obvious public safety reasons.

The Queendom of Australia would be more than happy to request a pavilion to showcase Australian, art, architectural designs, music, and other cultural achievements.

Since the Republic of Transvaal only recognises the separate entities of Promised Land and the Hanseatic Commonwealth in lieu of united Australia (re:Botha Mode foreign policy), our government will therefore grant a pavallion to both Promised Land and Hanseatic Commonwealth. We shall place them adjacent to each other on the fairgrounds.

In the next few hours, two more signs could be seen erected onto the sides of the pavllions:

Carthage would like to send a military delegation on behalf of Artemis Group, who has a rather large branch in Carthage and deals with most of our experimental weapons. Of course, all working designs brought in would be experimental and there will be, with permission, a live fire show. If permitted to bring experimental designs in, we request the closest thing to a hangar that there is to store our designs.

Thank you.

Rhodesia wishes to staff a booth at the Expo in Johannesburg. We wish to display various items of Rhodesian culture, including items from our historical museums, as well as have space for Source Manufacturing (microchip company), and Southern Africa Luxury (affluent living company) to display products. Also, we inquire if it would be possible for us to display various animals native to Rhodesia, as well as safari vehicles for display? Our booth would be staffed by our Minister of the State Annelie van der Berg, along with other delegates from the Ministry of the State and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Carthage would like to send a military delegation on behalf of Artemis Group

Currently there are no official diplomatic relations between Carthage (Sarnungian Republic) and Transvaal. Before we permit any cultural delegations from Carthage, an exchange of ambassadors should be carried out first.

Regardless, we would not permit any live fire excercises during the fair.

Dai Etania Teikoku would be more than willing to re-establish relations with Transvaal.

Sousuke Sagara will serve as our new ambassador.

Our mistake, we still have ambassadors listed and exchanged with Chimairan Republic (our diplomatic relations are mainatined with in-game nations) which is why we seemed ignorant regarding our current or previous relations.

We have Tiya Sujiokotsu listed as your ambassador - is this correct, or shall they now be replaced by Sousuke Sagara? Please advise.

OOC: sorry I can't keep track of RP re-rolls and RP nations, which is why I use in-game names.

//OOC: I was sure that as the Sarnungian Republic I had established relations, and as my in-game nation has not changed I thought it would carry over. My apologies.//

It is understandable that there are no live fire exercises. An exchange of ambassadors can certainly be done: the radiation on Ambassador Row has been cleared and there are no outstanding grievances against Transvaal.

I was sure that as the Sarnungian Republic I had established relations, and as my in-game nation has not changed I thought it would carry over.

True - they would carry over.

However the embassies between Sarnungian Republic and Transvaal I think were closed some months ago when we had ambassadors in Pretoria repost their credentials during the military junta (to help sort through all the inactive embassies, plus to see who supported the junta) so it is quite possible you either missed the thread or forgot to post.

But then again, I seem to recall as well a few nations announced their suspension of relations with Transvaal and withdrew their ambassadors during that period in protest to Marshal Malan's dictatorship. The more I think about it, the more I think you were amongst those nations (I believe Rebel Army was another who withdrew theirs in protest).

Regardless, bygones are bygones and we shall re-open the embassies and restore full diplomatic between our two nations. We shall assign Ambassador Elize Le Roux , formerly the ambassador to Italica, as our representive to your nation.

An aerial convoy of Halob heavy lift aircrafts started arriving at Botha International Airport in Johannesburg. Each one would taxi towards a loading bay where the cavernous holds of the aircraft would be opened and the exhibits for the Cochin Pavilion would be unloaded to a number of trucks that had been hired locally by the Cochin Embassy.

These are the working exhibits brought by various companies.

Tatra Automotive Works (TAW)- T150 MBT, Tatra 4x4, Tatra 6x6, Tatra 8x8 trucks.

Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) - Axe Jeep, Tusker Light trucks

Gosree Aeronautics Limited (GAL) - S-RECO UAV, Piranha Light Combat Helicopter

MetalStorm - Bali Area Defense System

Scale models of several other products of Cochin industries were also unloaded including scale models of Mig29, Su30, Jadayu Mk1, which is being offered for the first time to international market, Metac, Merat, Halob. Larsen and Toubro has brought several scaled replicas of some of their most prestigious and technologically challenging projects. Encompass Technologies has brought samples of their vaunted security systems including PPY Autonomous Ground Vehicle. Tratum Infosystems is readying a stall with live demonstration for their various commercial software solutions. MetalStorm is also bringing a number of their revolutionary and patented small arms systems.

All these materials would be driven to the Cochin Pavilion at the Transvaal International Expo.

Procinctia, a nation with a long history of relations with Transvaal, requests one booth/table, it's contents will be revealed upon approval.

Granted. No more applications will be accepted as the fair opened today. The Procinctian pavillion will be located next to the one for Sarnungian Republic (Carthage). In other news, Staatspresident Botha shall visit the fair on either Sunday or Monday.

A motorcade of government limousines pull up in front of the fairgrounds entrance. On one of them flies the orange-white-blue flag of the Republic. It is early morning prior to the public opening time of noon, so that the Staatspresident can visit the fair in privacy without undue security concerns. One of the entrance greeters hands him a brochure listing all the foreign delegations and a map of the fairgrounds.

“Well, this one looks good, let’s go start with this pavilion here…” he says to his entourage and walks inside.

OOC: To speed up RP, you can assume Botha is visiting your pavilion at this moment instead of having to wait for him to go from one Rp to the next

Since Transvaal had insisted that there be two, seperate pavilions from Australia, some of the information contained in these pavilions would overlap.

There was information on various animal species native to the continent, with particular emphasis on the large variety of marsupials. Examples along with descriptions of general characterstics of Australian plant species were among some of the prominent displays.

Culturally, emphasis was put on how diverse the culture was, but there was a section devoted to Aboriginal art and culture from various places on the continent.

A person entering the Cochin Pavilion would first see a 3 Dimensional holographical projection of the flag of Cochin. Walking beneath it they would be near the first stall, that of Larsen and Toubro. A bright and well lit stall, it would display miniature models of some of the most prestigious works undertaken by L&T, including Trans Himalayan Railroad and Gwadar Bridge. A scaled terrain replica of the entire stretch of the Trans Himalayan Railroad would be displayed on a huge table and so would be a cutaway model of the Gwadar bridge currently being developed. The stall would be manned by senior executives of L&T who would explain the various aspects of construction to the visitors and for more prominent visitors and prospective clients a well furnished conference room had been set up behind the stall.

Tratum Infosystems had a relatively smaller but more high technology stall. Here several holographical projection pods were displayed which displayed several natural wonders of the Kingdom as well as served as a demo for the Holographical Communication Portal developed by Tratum Infosystems. The HCP enabled people to communicate with holographic projections of themselves over a secure and high definition network. This was the first time that this system was being unveiled in a foreign market.

Encompass Technologies had set up demo chambers to display the effectiveness of its various high end security systems. The PPY Autonomous Ground Vehicle is also being shown around as a live demo. Several video presentations regarding the working of the ETPL security systems would also be shown to the visitors.

Gosree Aeronautics Limited has one of the largest stalls in the Cochin Pavilion. Several scaled models of vaunted GAL products like Mig29, Su30, JM1, JM2, Halob, Merat, Metac, S-RECO, Blackhawk, MH53, Piranha, Bell-212 etc were displayed prominently at this stall. A very large Holographical Display Pod, manufactured by Tratum Infosystems was also present here where the various functionalities and aspects of various GAL products could be explained through 3 dimensional live demo. A communications link up had also been established with GAL Flight Test Center in Pavlodar where highly skilled engineers and technicians of these aircrafts would explain specific technical details via this communication portal. The GAL stall would also have several smaller Holographic Pods which would be showing the various aircrafts in flight and performing various maneuvers. Meanwhile a S-RECO and a Piranha Light Combat Helicopter were stationed just outside the Pavilion so that prospective clients could be given test rides or given a working demo.

The Tatra Automotive Works' stall is simply the biggest of all stalls, principally because of its demo items. The Tatra 4x4, Tatra 6x6 , Tatra 8x8 trucks were gleaming in their freshly manufactured shine however the pride of position belonged to the T150 Main Battle Tank. The MBT in its Royal Cochin Army camouflage colors is lit by a number of lights and was sporting the regimental banner of the Cochin Horse, 1st Armored Cavalry Regiment of the Royal Cochin Army. The T150 was mostly built and assembled by the TAW while its principal armaments and electronics are later integrated by Cochin State Armory. All four vehicles would be available for test drives in coordination with Transvaal authorities. Several pictures of the Tatra trucks working under the most inhospitable terrains were also displayed including during the Bosaso Development Zone, Antarctica, South East Asian rainforests during the Khmer War, Makanrushi development, for the Trans Himalayan Railroad and various other high pressure jobs in the Kingdom.

Mahindra and Mahindra displayed in its stall a Mahindra Axe All terrain Jeep and a Tusker light truck. An obstacle range was built inside the pavilion where the Axe would drive over to display its manifest driving capabilities.

The MetalStorm stall would be the most interior and most protected of all stalls. The Metal Storm stall would also host the Cochin State Armory products as CSA was a last minute entrant to the Expo. Several high technology weapons systems would be displayed here like Bali Area Defense System, employed by the Border Guards, MS155mm Self Propelled Gun, MS 5.56 mm Assault Rifle, MS 12.5 mm Heavy Machine Gun, MS 7.61 mm Light Machine Gun, MS20 CIWS-Ground, MS20 CIWS-Naval, MetalStorm Missile CIWS. The Cochin State Armory products displayed here would be CS-55 5.56 mm Assault rifle, CS9K 9mm Sub Machine Gun, CM-55 5.56 mm Squad Automatic Weapon, Thunder Electrothermal Chemical Technology and 130 mm T150 MBT Main gun.

At each of these stalls detailed brochures regarding various systems displayed would be provided.
