We don't know how the barbarians called themself, know what the romans called them, trought their writings. And when the barbarians invaded roman cities, they were so impressed by their level of civilizatio and administration, they all tried to be roman themself. Those who will govern Somalia in the future, will do nothing but emulate our social policies, just like the Latin Americans are doing. They will all follow our example, and try to to better.

Explain why most of the Romans' invaders looted their cities and vandalized them. Why? They weren't impressed by the Romans, they wanted revenge since for several centuries, the invaders' land was being gobbled up by the Romans.

The Romans were often ruled by incompetent emperors and sometime insane ones. There was one Roman emperor who appointed his favorite horse to a high government position before the downfall of the Roman Empire, not very smart of him. On top of that, shortly before the Roman Empire fell, they led a genocide against all Christians because they didn't like Christianity and eventually gave up.

"Please point to which land we have taken by force. I dare you to speak honestly."

~Anthony Harlem

For such a horrible union of nations, you sure do talk as if you could back it up.

Nonetheless, by merging with the shadow-Hansa, you have committed yourselves to allow the forceful annexation of territory that the Hansa has forcefully integrated into their own nation. You knowingly become a single entity with a nation that annexes violently, all the while claiming not to support it. Your statements reek of hypocrisy, as you attempt to defend an invalid point. You disgust us.

"Since Furon can barely take care of their own people we wonder why you are even commenting on what we do with in our own continent. When we kill thousands of people aimlessly like you do, then we'll talk, otherwise, I had thought that you were ceasing to recognize us why comment on things that deal with our nation? The world sure doesn't care about you, you should learn and stick to your island and not worry about things that don't concern you in the slightest. You come into this discussion clearly only to insult Australia and openly saying to the discussion at had and you have no opinion or concern. If that's the case, please, do the world a favor. Keep to yourselves. We will not press the matter further. Have a nice day."

Good job on killing multiple hundred thousand of civilians. Pat yourself on your back as you bash someone else for committing "violent" acts when you just did something even worse.

If you have taken care to realize what was going on, you would know that they weren't civilians. Next time, do your research better.

OOC: That's assuming you have a satellite, otherwise you wouldn't have known that I killed the civilians.

Strange that Furon should say this. Our satellite happens to say otherwise.

It wouldn't be surprising if your 3rd World Nation's technology were prone to malfunction.

Nonetheless, we shall pull out of this argument (ooc: thread). We've made our point, and the flak we are receiving will do nothing more to discuss Italy's situation, only increase the amount of political bickering and finger pointing. Good day.

From the Office of Nyani Oshibutu, Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Nation of Nod

"We understand the Italians' plight and most definitely share their concerns about this emerging power bloc in Northern Africa.

The Aphrike Treaty was first created '...in the interest of promoting stability, unity, and [diplomatic] discussion amongst nations of Africa...' with the inclusion of a most noble article, Article VII, which states '...in areas of land disputes, diplomatic attempts must be attempted first before hostile measures can be taken. This includes non-signees of the treaty.'

Your lot does no such thing, with respect its very own preamble - Africa has never been more unstable, divided and paranoid since your 'Bloc' was created. Your signatories have single-handedly undermined the relative peace and stability you all swear to protect.

Three of your signatories engaged in a unilateral (with respect to the rest of the African continent), unwarranted and unprovoked attack against two very stable, united and diplomatically vocal sovereign entities in East Africa.

The former Italican regime held a diplomatic summit, where several key African players (most of your Signatories noticably absent) were in attendance, all from different walks of life and governing styles. This attempt alone has done more for 'uniting' Africa than your Treaty ever has, since its inception!

You continue to project your power and force amongst the region. You did not attempt diplomacy before hostile measures were undertaken against your victims. Both conflicts began with the issue of a highly hostile ultimatum, one to relinquish its governing body under no fault (no tangible fault other than what your signatories percieve as faults) of its own, the other, a simple demand, 'relinquish your sovereignity and vacate the premises.'

No self respecting nation could ever be expected to meet such demands, no offers of diplomacy, without threat of military action was offered, no chance for peace was given. Your signatories deliberately gave demands that would start war, no matter what kind of target this was used against. We reckon even Democrats would fight such inexcusable demands!

You are the worst type of tyrant imaginable. One who intimidates, coerces, and destroys under the guise of peace and stability. Onlookers are fooled with the false notions that your purely destructive notions are for the greater good. You administer venom to a victim, while her unwitting family believes you are giving her an anti-venon.

You are the perfect and proverbial 'Wolf in Sheep's Clothing'. "

"I fully agree with your message. At the moment, i am unable to make an official statement of my own at this time due to ongoing diplomatic negotiations, but we too have been trying to get an answer for this question, and were ignored every time. They blame Europe for instability while declaring war on a peaceful nation. The Aphrike Treaty has shown itself to be little more than a bandwagon to assimilate every country that is not a signatory, and it is in this image of faux supremacy that your statement will likely be ignored unless one of its members feels like being witty. It's a shame really, we expected better of some signatories."

Thank goodness.

And here I was, thinking the entire world has been fooled, or worse, is too afraid to oppose these menaces. It is a shame really, the UMS showed much promise before the Aphrikans' talons came and snatched them into its clutch. I've even recieved word that the UMS is building a base in Somalia, so that the Aphrikans can project their power even further into the region.

We fear that the scourge of war will once again set its foot on our land- as we are the last bastion of authoritarianism left in the region. But never fear, we will not give up as easily as the Italians do.
