An excellent set of questions.

1. I learned about CN from an internet search. (and then the training from guides and players)

2. Zenith. And I'm still there because they're just that damn good.

3. Almost everybody in Zenith has taught me something. However, if I could pick one, I'd have to say Ferrous, who is now the leader of the Iron Wood Clan. I still admire and look up to him to this day.

4. Not only the leaders of Zenith, like Duncan King for example, but the support of our entire membership has greatly helped me to continue helping out where I can and to continue on in our moments of difficulty. It is an inspiration to see the concern and good will these players have towards noobs, and people who are still noobs even when they pretend they're not (like me).

Another portion of folks that have helped me along have been the other leaders of Planet Bob who have taken their time to explain their theories on things or shared their extensive experience. While a lot of them have been allies, some have surprisingly come from "the other side of the fence", which just goes to show that humanity is abundant in this game.

How did you learn about CN?

Don't remember honestly. I was bored and just stumbled upon it somehow.

Who taught about CN?

GGA gave me the basics, Nemesis taught me a hell of a lot about everything else.

Where was your first alliance?

GGA

Who would you say inspires you the most on Bob?

Doitzel. Many things I did in GGA were in reaction to Vox, and many things I did in Nemesis (including joining in the first place and later fighting in the Karma war) were only available to me because of the efforts of Vox. He made everything interesting in what could have been an extraordinarily boring time, so hats off to him.

Who was your "Mentor"?

The closest person was probably Scotchwithrocks, one of the Triumvirs tossed out a few months ago and one who tossed me out of GGA before that. My first job in the alliance was in the Defense Department with him.

Who got you or helped you get to where you are now?

Nemesis, too many people to name individually so I'll just say the entire group.

How did you learn about CN? Found it through NS.

Who taught about CN? This heikk-i fellow mainly back when I was still a poor little noob.

Where was your first alliance? FCO, even though it was more like collective anarchist bunch of general noobery when it was founded be and it took a while before FCO could actually be called an alliance.

Who would you say inspires you the most on Bob? Nada, really.

Who was your "Mentor"? Didn't have one.

Who got you or helped you get to where you are now? Hmh. Most credit I give to myself, naturally, as I've kind of been this kind of self-made man instead of one who's been getting jobs through good connections. Generally I'd like to thank the all of Stickmen, though, and certain FCO individuals like Aurora, terveis, Decker and Napilon, mainly.

Google.

Where was your first alliance?

NAAC.

Who would you say inspires you the most on Bob?

I'm not particularly inspired currently. I take the example of those who suffered for causes they believed in as inspiration, those cases are in the past. I suppose that's a good thing.

Who was your "Mentor"?

Never had one.

Who got you or helped you get to where you are now?

I owe a lot to a great deal of people. They know who they are.

Interesting thread.

How did you learn about CN? Someone posted a link on a community I'm part of. (Or, was part of. I guess I should visit there more.)

Where was your first alliance? Grämlins, although I wore the AA of the offsite (The 4th Kingdom) for a while before I joined.

Who would you say inspires you the most on Bob? Right now, no one person really. Syzygy and Steelrat are where most of my inspiration has come from, along with some from my rhetorical opponents back in the day (Dilber, Philosopher, etc).

Who was your "Mentor"? Syzygy.

Who got you or helped you get to where you are now? Every member of Grämlins and Citadel during the time I was there. Hopefully in a month or two there'll be some VE names I can put here too :)

How did you learn about CN? My brother found it a month or so earlier and then he forced me to join. And then a month or two later he quit and abandoned me. (I am not sure where he learned of it but some website I suppose.)

Where was your first alliance? LOSS, they helped me against two random people who raided me when I was 2-3 days old, and then they gave me the princely sum of $10,000 as a loan to help me fix the damage, and I was so happy and grateful that I joined.

Who would you say inspires you the most on Bob? Nobody/nothing. Am I supposed to have some hero/idol to worship around here? If so, you are all doing it wrong.

Who was your "Mentor"? I am not sure that I really had one, but I suppose I would have said GOONS actually, rather than any single person, because the little that I know of how to really build a country and etc I learned there.

Who got you or helped you get to where you are now? That is all me, baby emot-smugbert.gif Oh and the computer dying so that my old country was Deleted from inactivity.
