Scotland has rounded up all Damacious prisoners of war and will hold them indefinitely until Damcious agrees to our demands.

Damacious will pay for any and all damages caused to the livelihoods of the Scottish civilians and soldiers who gave their lives to defend against the aggressors. We demand an official apology, and a permanent base to be held in Northern Ontario to prevent such an invasion from ever occurring again.

Should Damacious reject our demands, further damage will be done against such treacherous warmongers.

*Announcement from State*

"Nuts!"

The Phoenix Empire questions the nature of this base, will you be claiming the land under it or will American jursidiction remain?

We have no intention to claim land or anything else in North America. For the most part what they do is not our business, and we understand North American concern over European presence on their continent. Nonetheless, our demand once again unrelated to territorial conquests but to simply ensure this aggressive nation will not have the means to assault us again.

The land will remain under American jurisdiction, we simply wish to keep a small military establishment to ensure our safety.

Under those terms we do not oppose the base then as they do not violate our doctrines.

"As Viniland will be the ones administrating the area as soon as the current government is deposed, we do not oppose the idea of a Scottish base so long as the control is temporary. There is no reason to maintain a base in the long term if an entirely new country is to establish itself in Western Ontario."

Western frontier of Damacious

Seeking to minimize casualties, Vinilandese troops have made slow, careful progress in Damacian territory. Entrenched positions were thoroughly bombarded by howitzers and the RVAF (in coordination with Tahoe). Key passage areas proven to be mined were bombed by planes and minesweepers ensured that said areas were safe.

OOC: Reeki, I've got no idea how many men you've got on the Western front...

OOC: N Reeki, how many troops do you have on the Damacious/GLS border? I need to know so I can RP accurately.

OOC: Let me think...I sent 20,000 to Scotland, which leaves roughly 140,000 (due to multipliers) at home, and given that IC I am expecting an assault from land, sea and air...

70,000 on Viniland front

45,000 on sea border

the rest on GLS

155mm artillery fires back as fast as the damage is done, and tanks soon join the fight. Since the air force is all but gone, they will have to make do with what they have, and send shell after shell ont othe approaching Vinilandese forces.

"The 1st Infantry Division and 2nd Airborne began moving into western Damacious, hoping to link up with Viniland troops."

*Air attack included*

Anti-air defense that were relatively untouched by Tahoe bombing runs light up as the Blue Heaven planes near the airspace. The soldiers on the ground begin opening fire, having the advantage of being entrenched and knowing the battleground. Artillery opens up again and snipers placed here and there take careful aim.

Classified:

Close to the very western part of Damacious/GLS border, six miles away:

340 artillery guns using from 120mm canister flechettes and explosives, including 20 self-propelled Panzerhaubitze 2000 artillery guns opened fire on Damacious's border defenses. After a few shots, they stopped temporarily for another 130 artillery guns one mile east to open fire for a few minutes.

Then everything became quiet as the artillery guns moved away and GLS ground units prepared for a counter attack. 500 anti-air MIM-104 Patriot vehicles also moved in.

------------------------------------------------

Close to the eastern part of the border, right next to the Hudson Bay, six miles away:

Nearly 200 artillery guns and 500 Panzerhaubitze 2000 opened fire on the Damacious's defenses. About 5 minutes later, the artillery fire stopped, but then about one thousand Panzerhaubitze 2000 opened fire on Damaciou's defenses about ten mile east of the first artillery strike area. Meanwhile, the GLS ground units moved in to defend the artillery guns in case of a counter attack while 600 MIM-104 Patriots stayed close by.

----------------------------------------

Classified message to all GLS military generals and commanders close to the war zone:

Another 35,000 soldiers and 500 tanks will be deployed to the Damacious/GLS border. Annoy them with artillery shelling until their defenses look mostly torn up and weakened enough to easily invade or wait for their counter attack, then attack back after smashing their counter attack.

----------

OOC: All artillery guns are using flechettes (sharp tailed pointy metal rods that can reach sub-sonic speed in the air if allowed to fall enough distance, deadly against soldiers and weakly armored vehicles), high explosive, and semi-armor piercing high explosive shells (they partially pierce armored targets and then explode. Good against armored targets. If the targets' armoring are too weak, then the shells would simply tear through them)

West:

Damacious artillery does much like it has everywhere else: pounded everyone. Tanks on the other hand, begin heading toward the capital of Thunder Bay, where the strongest defenses are. Infantrymen pop smoke to cover their retreat and even toss a frag or two.

East:

50. calibur machine guns open fire, along with the artillery and tanks. Snipers do their job as well as the infantry. Again, smoke is popped to cover their retreat to the capital.

***Classified message to all Damacious soldiers***

They are destroying our defenses. All units fal lback to base line Charlie, the trench system surrounding the capital. Fight to the last man, there will be NO retreat. Protect Dominic at all costs!

A total of 50 people, 30 men and 20 women from 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Platoons, Bravo Company, 1st Combat Brigade, of the 1st Infantry were killed. The rest of the 1/1 took cover began to entrench themselves. Now that the Blue Heaven soldiers knew where their enemies were they called on the 1st's artillery batt. to attack the soldiers positions and also do counter-fire for the enemy artillery firing at them. Also a total of three B-52 airstrikes are called in on enemy positions.

Classified

The 3rd, 5th, 8th, and 13th Armored Divisions (200 M1A2 tanks total) have been called up and are making their way to the battlefield.

OOC: I allow both men and women to fight in infantry positions in my military.

Classified:

After hours of artillery shelling, it finally stopped. Both of the GLS units at edge of the eastern and western part of the border sent a few Assault units who were trained in fighting at close range combats. If those units are engaged by enemies, then they would retreat and the artillery firing would resume.

If there were no enemies, then the entire army would advance.

SECURE CONNECTION....ESTABLISHED

----To All Allied nations----

Subject: Post-war strategy

Dear leaders of nations allied against Damacious,
I think that we need to discuss our post-war operations
as after we defeat the Damacians, by international law
(OOC: the Geneva Convention), we will have to provide
food, shelter, education and the like to the Damacians
and help them rebuild. This is quiet important as we don't
want splinter groups rising up and starting an insurgency.
Post-war Blue Heaven will donate 1 or 2 Civil Affairs Batts.
and also the 1st Mech shall be donated to patrol some of
the western portion of Damacious.

Please respond,
Gen. Colin Powell (Blue Heaven MoD)

The asualt units would come under fire from retreating Damacious units, along with tank fire. Artillery had all but stopped and smoke would be popped to stop the enemy assault.

OOC: I'm just gonna end it now.

IC:

As sudden as the initial Scotland attack, Damacious soldier lay down their arms, get out of the tenches and tanks while holding their hands above their heads, pleading with their attackers not to shoot. Some wave white flags, and everything falls silent. Some of their radios repea the message that causes these men to surrender.

Repeat, all units, surrender now. Direct orders from Dominic Potter. I repeat, surrender under the direct orders of Dominic Potter.
