Bacharth
With Vinzent's return, the two were able to discuss things that were important to Crimean succession. With the military's return from a long journey towards Austria with nothing to show for it, the militant population with heavy support for invasion of multiple countries became restless. On the internet, Crimean bloggers issued their complaints against the government for not invading Belarus when it became aggressive towards the smaller nation of Ruthenia. Erik and Vinzent held a speech to remind the nation that war would not be the answer, and Belarus would soon be decried for their actions. During one of these speeches, a citizen threw a molotov cocktail towards the stage. A few of the Grünmacht troops took the man down. Unfortunately, seeing the seemingly senseless aggression towards a citizen was posted on the internet, causing a massive uproar. Rioting began outside the Kaisersheim, causing Erik and Vinzent to retreat underground before the building was overrun with angry citizens. But the battle had just begun. Rioters saw them underground, and began to attack them and the fleeing Grünmacht troops. Erik then ordered the entire Grünmacht to escort them on a secretly constructed passage to Drakoria. "King James, this is Erik," Erik sent in a coded message to the King, "the citizens and military have risen up. I've ordered myself and ten thousand of my guard to escort me out, will you allow us into your nation, and then deploy your troops to protect the area?" OOC: Taking a break from CNRP for a bit. loannes
**Classified Reply** "Granted, you may make your way to Baku when you are ready." 30,000 Caucasian troops were readied and dropped into Crimea. They were only to shoot if fired upon.
Bacharth
All but eight Grünmacht were ordered to deploy as normal citizens and mingle with the Caucasians, and be normal citizens again. They would all keep in contact with Erik though. Then, the ten would get on a plane and go to Baku to join the king.
loannes
**Public Statement** "With the large uprising in Crimea, Caucasian troops are stepping on on the Crimean government-in-exile's behalf. The Crimean Peninsula, and the Sea of Azov coastline will be incorporated into Caucasia, to ensure we can keep troops in the region to quell riots. The rest of the nation is under Caucasian protection."
Sarah Tintagyl
Zora Nephilette, commander of the Lillian Guard stationed in the Crimea, numbering fifty, as per the existence of the regime in Valkurheim, could only bow her head in sadness at the chaos going on, detailed on the television screen. "Christ, even Crimea, the one place where I thought there was still somewhere where we had a friend...and Vinzent. What will Valeria say." She frowned and took out a small piece of paper from her coat pocket to send to the woman down in Australia. It would say that things would be okay and that she should have hope and a bit of faith, things...things had to be okay. Bacharth
Vinzent sent a letter to Valerie. Valerie,Don't worry, I'm fine. My people are just a little pissed that we didn't invade Belarus or Austria. Understatement of the year. I'm currently in Baku, awaiting a new situation. If you wish, I can come to Australia to see you, I'll have a little more time this time around, since there's no overbearing war. Love, Vince, your city boy. Sarah Tintagyl
Vince,Funny how the world works doesn't it, one minute you seem to be on top of your game and the next minute you get pushed down into the dirt. Trust me, I've been around long enough to know precisely how that feels. Europe is and always was a powder keg, so maybe some time off for you would be the best thing. But please, don't be a stranger, I'm not one to advertise immigration, but things are going pretty well down under for now and you still haven't taken me up on the over to go see Tahiti. With a Lillian Salary, the world's our adventure, so please don't hesitate to surprise me with a visit. Love, Valeria, your country girl
