VigilantWatcher
The Cochin Chamber of Commerce would like to know if these changes would affect the operation of foreign industries and companies doing business in Curristan and with Curristan. These reforms will not effect the operation of foreign industries and companies doing business in Curristan and with Curristan. The reforms are directed at internal economic problems like corruption and companies trying to monopolise Curristan's economy.

stitigcEs
I also like reforms but I think they are imba or you have to make up some for every faction. But this would be crappy for unit reforms. I dont like the idea of what if units, for that I can also play warcraft. So reforms yes but only for traits/governments/etc. and please for all factions. VigilantWatcher
OOC: I agree with you Bio. WTF is that guy on about??? IC: President Lisa Black has made this statement: "Some critics probally feel that Curristan is returning to what it was immediately after the civil war. This is not true. These reforms have been put in place for the majority of the Curristani population. The reforms will benefit Curristan and their implementation will have a psoitive effect on the economic situation. I will not go back on the promises i have given. More economic reforms will be introduced over the next few months along with changes in the law regarding drugs and the sale of firearms. I will also include crime and social welfare reforms to tackle the level of crime in Curristan and the current number of homeless people. I will make sure that these reforms go through with the help of the Curristan Senate."
VigilantWatcher
At the same time of her speech, SWAT teams all over Curristan begin to raid thousands of houses, seizing drugs and detaining hundreds of known drug dealers and traffickers. The Operation had been planned six months previously and would target the drug smugglers that attempted to being in their merchandise through Curristan's borders. This would also disrupt the Curristan Revolutionary Front's funding and abilty to conduct operations against the Curristan Authorities. The next reform would be the pledge to give public sector businesses more relaxed taxes. This began immediately with the following statement from the Bank of Curristan: "Small businesses that make under C$250,000 will benefit from a 15% reduction on taxed profits. This will allow for them to grow and allow more people to set up their own businesses. This takes effect immediately."
VigilantWatcher
The following change has been made to Curristan's title: Rational Socialist Democracy of Curristan (RSDC) This name change completes the transition to a Rational Socialist Democracy. All treaties and diplomatic agreements remain in place in our point of view. President Lisa Black will now take questions.
