The mechanized forces of the Carthaginian army tore through Johto civilian space, racing quickly to the political and military capitals of Johto. Air support was heavy and a web of ground troops was quickly overtaking much of Johto while the army going to attack the Johto troops closed in. Unless they were able to spawn a second army inside of their borders, they would soon be conquered.

//OOC: just emphasizing that I'm moving very fast to cut your country in half and capture major cities

They would meet little resistance as they approached the capital, where over 50,000 men and a thousand tanks awaited their arrival, fully loaded, fully stocked and dedicated to protecting God-King Sulieman and Army commander Kahled al-Fulani.

Having just recently come out of a long silence to recover from the series of attacks on it, Mandalore is ready to issue an official statement on this news from Jack Carter, president.

"We regret Johto's loss of its satellite, whether due to Libya or not. We do wish to express our sadness that war has come to Africa once again.

OOC: Wait...he left no army in his home territory? Oops. :lol1:

Anyway, glad to see no OOC fighting happening in this thread.

OOC: Actually I did. I just centralized it in the capital.

About 30-some-odd thousand soldiers and over a thousand tanks await Sargun.

OOC: And they're not in the surrounding areas so my post still stands. :v:

OOC: Don't worry, I don't believe you were god-modding. I was just confused, is all.

--SW Libya--

3 Division was the first to lay eyes on the enemy. Coming across the sand, scouts spotted them in the desert heat. Coming back to the bulk of the forces. A plan was drawn up. 3 division along with 1 Division and 5 Division would start shelling The Johto positions, while the infantry and Armor would get in postions to attack, while their motorized components went back to meet up with the mechanized elements of the other divisions. In total 120,000 regular infatry men, with 45 pieces of Artillery would square off against the johto troops. Until the 30,000 men of the combined mechanized divisions They would cut off the Johto troops from their home, essentially encircling them, enabling them to be destroyed. With help from the RLAF, the attack begun.

OOC: Just a note, Chris, it would probably be helpful to the overall smootheness of this thread if total numbers of men, vehicles, etc. were included in your post.

OOC: Indeed. It would be helpful if other RPers know how much enemy soldiers they are dealing with to confirm if the enemy force is simply a few dozen soldiers or the entire enemy nation's army.

Johto troops set up defensive positions as artillery from behind returns fire on Libya. When encircled, though, artillery stops firing and the 106 tanks are quickly rendered useless due to the EMP.

Public Announcement

As decried by the accords in which we participate, the United Mechodamian States feels the obligation to enter this conflict in the Johto Empire en masse. As such, 80,000 soldiers along with 3,500 tanks will enter the southern Johto Empire border. We urge all Johto soldiers that face our soldiers to immediately surrender. We assure the Johto government that their sovereignty will remain intact following the closure of this war.

Secret

All deployed forces have begun marching over the border into southern Johto.

*Public Announcement*

And so we are betrayed by our closest allies. How ironic.

*Classified*

"Kahled."

"Yes?"

"Do we have a cruise missile?"

"Yes, do you want to launch it at our attackers?"

"No. Put some C4 on it."

".......Understood sir."

*War*

As with Carthage, the UMS soldiers would face little resistance. Locals told the soldiers that the army had all but pulled out to the capital, where Kahed al-Fulani and God-King Sulieman were hiding.

Lest you forget that we never declared war on you. Lest you forget that we said according to our treaty we are coming in to guarantee your sovereignty. Lest you forget that we are not warmongers. We cannot fight Carthage and Libya because we are obligated to non-aggression with them, but we will do whatever it takes to make sure that the Johto Empire remains in relative tact.

"Yes, you are. You have activated the Treaty of Aphrike - signed by Libya, Novak, Carthage and Rebel Army."

Immediately, anti-naval missile fortifications up since the civil war* opened fire on the two ships with a massive barrage of missiles. From the Gibraltar Air Base, a squadron of F-46 fighter-bombers was dispatched to sink the ships if they still remained operational after the firing. Immediately after communications were shut off, e-bombs** were fired at the invading Johto troops in Libya. Thirty thousand Carthaginian troops started moving south, supported by nine hundred tanks. The groups were split into three - one heading to the Johto troops, two heading for Johto. One group was heading for the capital, the other for the largest military base.

OOC: Thar ye go.
