iKrolm
*Public**news report shown on international news networks* "..Army commander Kahled al-Fulani of the Johto Empire today requested a search team go into Mandalore to search for a downed low-flying satellite. al-Fulani has told us that he believes the satellite was shot down by Libyan anti-aircraft fire, but will not say it was until a full investigation has been completed." Selenarctos finds this somewhat suspicious as AA weapons can not shoot down sattelites. In other news, 1978 of the 2500 Selenarctan personnel sent into Mandalore have successfully been recovered and Selenarctan ships are currently holding station 2km of shore of Mandalore. Private to NoN and Mandalore: As soon as you believe the situation in the country is stable, we will send our aid workers back in to continue rescue and reconstruction efforts. Stefano Palmieri
*Classified*"Baker 2-1LFS, do you see the target, over?" "Copy Baseplate, we can see the target. You should be getting a live feed now." "Uh...we aren't seeing anything. Oh, nevermind ,we just got it. Zoom in on Mandalore, over." "Copy that, zooming in on Mandalore." "Baseplate, what is the current diplomatic situation between Libya and Mandalore, over?" "Uh...one minute...Libya has ceased to recognize Mandalore and is treadting them as a rebel state." "Well, that explains the men on the border." "Baker 2-1LFS, zoom in on the Mandalore-Libya border, over." "Copy, zooming in." "What the-?" "What is it, Baker 2-1LFS?" "Uh... low-flying satellite's gone offline, all it's showing is static." "...Cause?" "Don't know. It looks like...looks like it was shot down." "Shot down? By what?" "Dunno, probably a missile...I don't know if it even was shot down." "Well damn. Alright, cease operation. We'll get al-Fulani on the phone, ask him to get a recovery team out there." "Copy that." *Private to Mandalore* One of our satellites has gone down inside your borders. We request a search team be sent in by us to recover the craft and bring it back to the Empire. - Kahled al-Fulani *Public* *news report shown on international news networks* "..Army commander Kahled al-Fulani of the Johto Empire today requested a search team go into Mandalore to search for a downed low-flying satellite. al-Fulani has told us that he believes the satellite was shot down by Libyan anti-aircraft fire, but will not say it was until a full investigation has been completed." Offical Libyan Announcement Libya does not have the means to shoot down a sattilite, let alone launch one. We see this as a cheap excuse by the Johoto Empire to blame us for their shoddy engineering. Markus Wilding
OOC: It has been classified as a low-flying sattellite, not a space sat.
HHAYD
- Kahled al-Fulani*Public* *news report shown on international news networks* "..Army commander Kahled al-Fulani of the Johto Empire today requested a search team go into Mandalore to search for a downed low-flying satellite. al-Fulani has told us that he believes the satellite was shot down by Libyan anti-aircraft fire, but will not say it was until a full investigation has been completed." If it didn't have wings or fully operational jet engines, then it can't be an airplane and is too high to by hit by AA defenses. Unless if your satellite somehow managed to hover 1-2 miles off the ground while emitting heat and/or radar, then it can't be hit by AA heat or radar tracking missiles. Executive Minister
The twin radar signatures, that under normal circumstances be the size of a barn, showing up on radar as the size of a barn door, suddenly veered off course towards the nation of Mandalore. If allowed to continue on their present course, they would fly over massing Libyan ground forces. In the lead craft, a single SARAH-37 accompanied by twin SIR-73 AA missiles performed their test sequences, their housings rotating within the confines of the XA-1's cargobay. While flying over North Eastern Mandalore, the twin XA-1's noticed something peculiar in the skies above. A relatively large and flaming object was seen streaking down, towards the empty lands below, several clicks North East of their current positions. The two pilots, their pilot cupolas parallel to each other, looked where each man thought the other's face would be. This was simply instinct and habit, nothing more. At the speeds they were travelling, they couldn't hope to see each other. One spoke to the other in typical pilot drawl, "Delta Fahv Twuntee, change Vecta One Ninah Zeruh, we have incoming." "Delta Fahv Twuntee, chain-gin tuh Ninah Zeruh, Vecta locked in..." The twin craft peeled away from their tight formation, the object streaking past several hundred metres between the two. "Delta Fahv Fowerty, what the Faux-traught Unah-fowerm Chah-lee Kilow whus that, over?" "Delta Fahv Fowerty, I-uh have zeruh confirmation on that bogey. Over." [...] With no signs of detection from any nations in the vicinity, the two carried on, and reached the North-Easternmost edge of the Mandalorian Airspace. There, they slowly spiraled clockwise and downwards until their craft met the estimated ceiling altitude of the Libyan Wasps* . Finally, they accelerated back to Mach 3+, and picking up a pair of Libyan crafts, plotted a vector South West that would result in them being almost at arms length with each other. "Delta Fahv Twuntee, letsuh, go wake up some Louies**. Over." "Roger." OOC:Going for one of those encounters Soviet Bear Bombers had with American Interceptors. Tame, I promise *I take it they are based of of the F/A-18? The SR-71 has an altitude of 2.6km, while the Hornet has 1.5 km, also I assume your planes are conducting patrols along the Libyan/Mandalorian border) **VC were Charlies, Germans were Fritz/Kraut, Libyans are Louies Edited November 13, 2009 by Executive Minister

Lavo
*NoN Executive Ministry*What ever do you mean? "Flying your pair of tactical bomber/recce aircraft right towards our ships in the Red Sea. If you don't turn them back, we WILL respond." *Private* "Seems these #$&*%! are serious. Ground the Vipers, send them a pair of Arrows." A nearby officer stared at the highest ranked officer who had just issued the command and stared at him, mouth dropped. "Are you serious?!? Sending in the bloody Arrows?" "You heard me right. They're the only thing in our arsenal that can stop Blackbirds, never mind make it in time." The man nodded, sending out the order for the Arrow taskforce. *Public* Two Arrows blasted off into the air, quickly accelerated to Mach 3, and then headed towards the XA-1s, a few hundred feet above them in altitude. Stefano Palmieri
**Classified** 10 Kms inside the Libya/Maladore Border, Border Control HQ "Sir, we have reports of two bogies flying at us from Maladore". "What? Any ID?". "No Sir, We're guessing NoN or UMS due to Maladore having nothing" "Hmmm, Alert the Air Force. Warn them they aren't to go over the Maladore Border, and if possible keep as far away from them as possible, but still able to identify them." "Aye Sir". The Skies above the Libya/Maladore Border Two Wasps were deployed to scout out the Aircraft for markings if they were to breach the border.
