We would like to humbly request the training and instruction of our Swiss Guard by Austria's army. How many men need to train, and how many vehicles are required?" +++ Classified +++ As it stands, there are currently around 134 Guardsmen in service to His Holiness, however for the training, the Curia has seen fit to expand the number of Guardsmen to roughly 800 in number. We have done so by removing the restriction on nationality, requesting that they merely be naturalized as a Swiss citizen. They will need personal protection training in conunction with a regular, field army training regimen. You just need to note us when you send them, how many, and we will train them to the standards of our armed forces. Their training will take about as long as that of an Austrian soldier, plusminus a week or two, as they already know how to handle weapons." The vehicles will be built over the next two days and shipped. They should arrive within 5 days, together with instructors. They are from anywhere and all they need to do, is just become citizens of of the Vatican or Switzerland. They are not required to be born in Switzerland. Agostinho Neto Posted November 10, 2009 Report Share Posted November 10, 2009 (edited) OOC: Any vehicle, any person, any package/bag/container, anything crossing the border and coming in Italy is searched and frisked by the border guards so there is NO WAY 10 vehicles will be able to go in the vatican - and living 500 meters from the Vatican, i know how it looks like, and i really doubt they have the space to park 10 vehicles or build missile defense systems. Either if you come by air or land, my radars would notice them. You can't hide an helicopter on the skies of Rome. It is the Capital, and is the most guarded, surveilled city in Italy.
