We believe that this summit will provide an opportunity for our governments to get to know each other better and to establish initial diplomatic ties. We also wish to discus the changes in our foreign policy as a result of our reunion of Vaule and Buryatia. The Diplomatic Corps put the finishing touches on the conference room in the Zhukov Towers, while the honor guard rehearsed at the Yakutsk International Airport. Messages were sent to each guest instructing them to land at the Yakutsk International Airport, clarifying the necessary security procedures and reminding them that the conference would be held in Yakutsk, even though Petrograd was officially the Federal Capital. President Trubachev arrived at the airport at exactly 9:02 am. He would welcome each guest personally. ***Classified*** Highly classified private diplomatic communiques are dispatched to several nations. James approached the President, and when he stopped in front of him, his Guards stopped behind. They clicked the safety on their rifles and placed the butts of the rifle on the floor next to them, staring twelve inches above the leaders' heads. James offered his hand to Trubachev. He got down wearing his trademark brown over coat with the 5 stars on his shoulder and a variety of ribbons pinned on his coat. He wore a green field jacket, black band t-shirt, black jeans, and sneakers. To anyone who didn't know his face or style, they would think he was a bum. However, he had credentials. The car he drove had the flag of Crimea on it, and he carried his ID. With him was a small pistol and a knife for protection. Amyante Posted November 11, 2009 Report Share Posted November 11, 2009 A car drove up to the Yakutsk International Airport, and Queen Amyante and her translator, Captain Larissa Orlov, stepped out to greet the delegation that would have her go through the necessary security procedures before heading to Zhukov Tower. Fear of flying was inconvenient, but not impossible to work around. After some government officials guided her to the terminal marked 'Arrivals', she too walked up to President Trubachev to shake his hand, and even though she spoke in English the translator next to her would give the Russian translation almost immediately after Amyante had finished speaking. If Trubachev would reply in English, she would take a small step back and not intervene in the conversation further, if not then she would translate his words to English again. As was customary, the President greeted the foreign guests first in Vauleo-Buryatian, and then resumed speaking in Vaulian. Once several of the guests arrived, a fleet of sleek limousines swung out onto the runway. There was at least one limo for each world leader present, as well as another to transport additional members of each leaders entourage. The limos drove rapidly through Yakutsk, as the streets had been cleared of traffic in advance, and arrived at the Zhukov Tower in mere minutes. Once everyone entered the conference hall on the 63rd floor, and took their seats, President Trubachev stepped up to the podium and began to speak: “Honored guests, You are no doubt wondering why I have extended this invitation to come to Vauleo-Buryatia, especially since we have, in most cases, not yet established formal diplomatic ties between our nations. It is my firm belief that true and lasting diplomatic ties are best established, not by bureaucrats or low level officials, but by the respective leaders and heads of government of nations. It is with this in mind that I have decided to invite you here today. In spite of Vauleo-Buryatia’s commitment to the ‘Look East’ policy, this is not an obstacle to the establishment of diplomatic ties between our nations. While our focus shall remain primarily in the Asian region, we are ready and willing to open diplomatic ties with several nations in the Eurasian or Australian region. Understandably, there will be a limit to the level of agreements that can be signed by our country with non-Asian nations, but this is not the sole purpose of diplomacy. It is our sincere hope that we may sign agreements for the exchange of Embassies and Consulates between our nations. Tensions are brewing up between Japan and Kamchatka. Vauleo-Buryatia has a very strong presence in the region after all and most of the nations in that region are subject to your Zhukov Doctrine."
