(DNN) Dragonisian City - The Legislative body of the state of Dragonisia, the Meritocratic Council, has closed its doors. The council will stay in session for the duration required to develop a consensus on who will be appointed the new party Chairman and thus assume leadership of the state of Dragonisia. Historically, there has only been one such vote held, and it was at the appointment of our first Chairman, Maelstrom Vortex. The duration it took to reach consensus during the first trials was over a week. During this time the government acts in an as-is state with no changes being made and only a temporary over-seer appointed for the executive duty with very limited powers to only enforce existing legal code and laws, and no diplomatic capability to negotiate whatsoever. Analysts from around the state have huddled into the heart of Dragonisian City, waiting for.. at any time, to receive word of the vote from within the chamber walls.

It wouldn't be surprising if, during this day and age, some information leaked from the process. It is well known almost all of the sitting representative body carries with them some form of portable communications utility. That said, if any word comes of development from within the halls, we will be the first to bring you word.

"Zargathia wishes the Meritocratic Council good fortune in deciding on a suitable Chairman that can lead the country with the wisdom and integrity of Chairman Maelstrom Vortex."

Though not intending to burn down Tidus, the fact remained that his succession to his uncle had been a rather short lived one indeed. Amyante just hoped that her message would remind the people of Maelstrom again, and the man responsible for the creation of the Dragon empire. If Dragonisia would fall into isolationism it would be... unfortunate.
