OOC: The events of this thread begin soon after my current thread with Sarah, 'Soldiers.'

IC: ***Address to the nation, from Administrator Richard Anderson***

"Yesterday morning, a terrorist attack rocked the port city of Perth, destroying one cargo ship entirely and setting another ablaze. While the ships in question only possessed skeleton crews, the death toll is still in the hundreds."

"Another attack occured in Darwin, in the Mayor's office. Fortunately, the office had been closed for renovation just the day before, but an unfortunate construction worker was caught in the blast."

"Several other attacks have occured across the nation, rusulting in over athousand deaths. It is with a heavy heart that I announce our borders are officially closed for the time being. Foreign Nationals are advised to leave as soon as possible for their own safety, and will not be allowed to return until this crisis is abated."

"We are deeply shocked to hear about the terrible attacks taking place in Promised Land, and hope these who perpetuated the attacks will be stopped."

New Englander citizens living in Promised Land packed up and boarded ships that would take them back to New England. A certain brothers and a German Shepherd dog also left for New England...

OOC: Hope you dont mind. ;)

OOC: They are not required to leave unless that's what you really want. Nothing happened in Melbourne, as it's not solely mine. ;)

Also, Kitex, if you're reading this, it doesn't apply to the soldiers you sent either.

The same to the soldiers you are going to send, Kevz.

In fact, foreign soldiers (to a small degree) would be welcome to help keep order.

IC: "Rest assured, we are doing what we can. That is why the borders are closing."

OOC: You know Subtle, you can PM me if you want something to go down in Melbourne.

OOC: Naw, it's fine. it's supposed to be solely internal trouble. At least for the moment.

"Zargathia is shocked to hear of this attack on one of its close allies. Should there be anything we could do to help, both as a friend and fellow AUP member, feel free to ask."

"We are grateful for Zargathia's offer of assistance. We will call on you if there is anything you can do."

Taeunas is appalled by these senseless wastes of life. To think that someone could commit these atrocities in a nation such as Promised Land is outrageous. We hope that the fiends who committed these attacks will be soon caught and quickly punished. Any Taeunas civilians in Promised Land are urged to return home at once.

**Private**

As our second fleet is still sitting off the east coast of the HR, and they have with them one of our Raider Brigades, should you request our help, it will be a small matter to get these soldiers to you.

***Private, in an unknown location***

At least ten individuals of various ages and both genders sat around a table. It appeared to be a standard dining room, that could have been anwhere in the nation, or in a few other nations as well.

"Friends, you see the chaos? This nation is enmeshed in quite a few difficulties, is it not?"

The speaker was a man in his fourties--his hair just beginning to turn grey.

"Furthermore, our government speaks quite harsh words to a number of nations." This time, a young woman, the youngest individual there at age 29, was the one to speak up.

"But the Administrator isn't willing to go far enough," she continued. "He speaks boldly, and is indeed willing to war if pushed far enough...but he has no stomach for what needs to be done on occasion."

There was a chorus of agreements around the table.

"So," the first one spoke again. "Are we all agreed that we will do whatever it takes to make this nation secure?"

"Aye!" they cried as one.

"Then today," the woman stated firmly, "Justice's Blade is formed!"

OOC: TL:DR I now have an ultranationalist group that has agreed it is willing to do just about anything to ensure my nation survives, though it has yet to make itself known to the public.

Location: Perth

Five large military transport ships clearly marked as belonging to the nation of Helzan coasted into the harbour city of Perth. Crewmen stood at their stations keeping their eyes open for anything that might be hostile or a threat to the five ship fleet, the captain's of each vessel had alreayd radioed ahead to the Promised Land port authority to inform them that the Helzan military force had arrived.

As each ship came to rest against the docksides, lines were thrown out and secured by Promised Land dock workers which swiftly lead to the unloading of Helzan soldiers and equipment. In total ten thousand Helzan soldiers had been sent along with enough Humvees to ctransport them and for fire support five hundred Stryker LAV's had been sent as well.

Whilst the force assembled on the dockside the commander, a 43 year old man named Shepard, loaded a magnum revolver that he kept on him at all times looking around to see if and when a Promised Land government official would arrive to meet them. Behind him a small group of men were planning out the best routes through the city in case of any emergancies. These men were Captain Price, Colonel "Soap" Mctavish and Sergeant Roach all of them had a few years combat experience under their belts and were happy to be somewhere sunny and warm for once.

It was another fine day in Perth. The sun was shining, and though a breeze from the sea ensured it didn't get too hot at the moment, it was far from the chill wastes of Helzan.

They were met at the docks by a Colonel who identified himself as Clancy, and the mayor, who in his apparent nervousness forgot to intoduce himself. he kept glancing around, as if he expected an attacker to spring out at any time.

Clancy was calm and collected.

"Colonel Clancy, Mayor it is good to meet you. My name is John Shepard I am the commander of the 1st helzan Ranger Battalion. With me are ten thousand of Helzan's finest soldiers along with our own transport and light armoured vehicles. We are here as part of the deal between our two nations and from the sound of it you could use our help" Shepard said this whilst shaking hands with both Clancy and the mayor whilst his men finished getting themselves into formation.

The mayor almost visibly deflated, not from fear, but from relaxation--tension seemed to seep out of his body. Foreign troops were less likely to be corrupted by whomever these terrorists were.

Clancy smiled as he shook hands with Shephard. "Indeed. Right now, believe it or not, foreign troops can be more surely trusted than our own. we don't know if any of them have been corrupted by these terrorists."

He gestured behind him to a military jeep. "I'll be personally escorting you to the military base just south of the city. We recently shifted a number of troops away from here, so there will be room...though it might be a tight fit," he admitted.

"Are you sure this is the right material? And are you sure the army won't notice it missing?"

The woman stared hard at the six men before her. The one in charge glared right back. "Of course I'm sure. I'm not an idiot. Neither are my men. Now, where's my money?"

She reached behind her to grab a suitcase, after opening a random box briefly and passing a geiger counter over it. Satisfied with the results, she closed it before handing over the money.

"Indeed. There's enough here to build at least five nuclear weapons. here you go."

The man took the suitcase, brifly scanning it to make sure it was legit. It seemd it was in order, so he snapped it shut. "Thanks."

"No, thank you," she said, as the man's head exploded from a sniper's round. Two more followed in quick succession, and she withdrew her own side-arm and downed the other three herself in the confusion.

"No witnesses...and Justice's Blade cannot tolerate traitors anyway."

OOC: TL;DR My ultranationalist group now has enough material(nuclear and otherwise) to build five nukes. I got a Hidden Nuclear Missile Silo IG, but this is how I wanted to RP it.

--------

With the deaths of those six, the terrorist attacks seemed to peter out, and die. The leader of the 'rebellion' had been foolish enough to go to that drop-off personally.

The Helzan soldiers were quickly ordered into the Humvees and with the Strykers moved out in convoy following the lead by Clancy. They maintained fifteen metres between each vehicle so if one IED was detonated it would only take out one vehicle at most. The vehicle gunners kept their eyes open for any ambushes that could be sprung on them.

OOC: Since this part is still before the actual end...we can have a little fun with it.

IC: A smart strategy. Though most of the trip was uneventful, as they neared the outskirts of the city, an unseen sniper took out the driver of Clancy's vehicle. To keep from turning and crashing into the buildings on either side, Clancy lunged over to push the dead soldier out of the vehicle, grabbing the steering wheel long enough to ensure no accidents happened, then ducked down. At that moment, he felt the passing of a bullet that could have taken his head off if he hadn't moved when he had.

He barked into the radio to Shepard, "Sniper, unknown position. Have your troops proceed with caution straight down this road. It will take you to the base."
