Locke
I have this issue with a few users' avatars who use the upload system, myself included. Sometimes using right click>Reload Image (Opera feature, clears only that image from the cache) works, sometimes clearing the whole cache does, sometimes I need to manually go in and wipe the cache myself from the file explorer. Yours is updated properly on my end though.

Locke
Alternatively, using an offsite upload like www.nonpermited image host.com is almost always a better idea. You don't run into this problem, and you don't get some of the quirks of the upload system like killing animation (and I believe transparency as well, though I've never tested that) on resizing.
