AironthFlamewing
To War To War! (Dateline Athens:) In a shocking move the Greek Government today announced they have captured a spy ring that has ties to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, The spy ring seemed to have been operating out of the State Office of Foreign Affairs and passing Greek Secrets to the Federal Republic. The ring was uncovered and captured by Greek Police when a member of the ring turned himself in because of the dishonor he realized he was bringing upon himself. In response to these diplomatic issues caused by the spy ring, a state of war now exists between the Greek Empire and the Federal Republic. "In response to the call to war by the Greek King 400,000 troops and 2000 tanks have been mobilised from the Greek Defence force of 4 million men that was called up earlier in the year, their targets include the city of Belgrade as well as other major cities in the FRY" "The Greek Government in reply to the American condemnation(re: Corinthian Courier) of its actions against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia provide information to the Americans detailing that throughout the past year secret codes and documents have gone missing from the Greek Office of Foreign Affairs and that the only people to occupy that office on the main street of Athens during that past year were the Yugoslavians, this is so because all other embassies were moved to the new Foreign Affairs building located down the street from the Parthenon and the only reasons that the Yugoslavs were allowed to stay in that office was due to the fact that the embassy for the Federal Republic was not finished yet." V The King
"We have no idea where this came from - we are a neutral nation and would never bother spying on anyone - it's none of our business. Our intelligence agency does not even have operations aboard. And guess what! We don't even have relations with America at all - this is nothing but a terribly made-up Casus Belli that the Greek probably can't even produce a shred of evidence that won't look like an obvious make-up. But since the Greek are bent on having a war, then it's what they'll have. The South Slavs reached the ultimate goal of finally getting over petty quarrels over religion and language, and nothing can divide us. Nothing. Our people will stand united against senseless aggression until every single one of them perish. We thus recognize a state of war between the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Greek Empire. We call upon the international community to condemn this absolutely arbitrary act of aggression and act upon it - the lest we all need are nations randomly invading each other because they think they can." Classified: The Yugoslav People's Army have mobilized! The 600,00 strong standing army troops have taken to arms, and the 5-million strong reserves have been called upon as well. Five thousand Panthers 2K are rolling out of the barracks and the Airforce and the Navy are readying up. 300,000 of those men have immediately moved into the Yugoslav-Greek border. AironthFlamewing
OOC: so technically he has no reserves, because even if he conscripted it would take a few days to train them properly so all he should have would be an airforce the base 100k troops and a navy right Drake? OOC: Regardless, they still all need training, equipment, organisation, mobilisation... all this spontaneously? A neutral nation like FRY would not be ready for such a radical movement, even the most military ready nation would need many months to recruit 5 million volunteers and send them to the front. In that time, Greece would no doubt occupy key areas of the nation anyway, making it all pointless.

Acca Dacca
*Classified to the FRY* What need of a spy ring in Grecian Empire would there be? They dont do anything interesting in the first place? *End* Are the British willing to provide the sufficient evidence for this situation or are going to dance around the subject till you have insulted every nation across the world. We have this to ask as well: Are you going to hold Grecians hand the entire time? Or have you pushed them to do this yourselves?
