Oswald Mosley was lead into the discussion room. He waited for the representative of Hansa to come. His mind went back to the President, who was holed up in the old Diet building. "What is President Ehrnrooth thinking when he said he wouldn't be surrendering? Doesn't he see the facts?" But it was not time to worry about someone who was clinging to the past.

OOC: I feel insulted that I've already been annexed without any prior discussion.

Anyway, tell me where Oswald is supposed to be.

OOC: I'll have a post tomorrow morning GG, its a bit late. Anyways, the only reason you've been annexed is that I moved in troops to get rid of the Dranaggians. Don't feel insulted, it wasn't meant to make you feel bad. Also, if you wouldn't mind, I'm going to have Oswald taken to Apophis to meet with Hannah. I can do that all in my post if you want though, I just don't want you in the city for injury sake and all that. :)

OOC: That would work perfectly. I don't want him in Brisbane, either. See you tomorrow.

For Oswald Mosley it had been a long trip. Removing Dranagg from Brisbane had only been one of many objectives that the Potentate had given her army to accomplish on the unification campaign. One had been to pacify the local governments from the border of Aginor all the way down to Brisbane, the second order had been to capture the Queenslander government and bring them to her. Mosley had been taken from his home, unfortunately, Ehrnrooth had no been found, either he had escaped, captured by the Welsh or Promised Landers, or the chance that he had died in the bombings was still very realistic. But they had Mosley and that was what was important.

Upon his capture, he was immediately take to the prison holding camps on the outside of the capital. However for any fears he had in mind for being imprisoned like the Dranaggians had been, he was instead led over to a waiting APC. Once inside, a lieutenant informed him that the city was much too dangerous at the moment for an official like him to be present and under strict orders of the Potentate he was to be taken to Apophis so that talks could begin between the two leaders immediately. So, as the sun went down over the western plains, the APC moved out onto the abandoned roads heading north from Brisbane. it was a some two-hundred mile drive and they would arrive in Apophis sometime late in the night, probably about one in the morning. But until then, the APC ventured onto the dark roads as the bright moon shown on the deserts and grassland in front of them

Apophis was from all standards a city meant to be seen in the dark and the battle of architectures only made this more profound. Hanseatic Australia, Russia, and Pacific Islands during the Tintagylian period had been built around the Neo-Classical, Rococo, and Baroque periods of Enlightenment Europe and had only added to the majesty of Sarah's Imperial Empire, however Hannah's own tastes were much more Romantic and much more dark. The Romantic Age, spurred on by the architecture of the High Gothic period crept towards the sky in awe-inspiring horror, it was of a new people, a people that had suffer for much of their existence, and a people that would once again rise to power. The Palac Pontus of Apophis, the seat of the Hanseatic Government, looked of a cross between a European cathedral and the Diet Hall in Brisbane and the guards matched feeling of silent mysticism. Mosley was taken from the APC with care and into the Palac for his audience with Lady Asgeirsson.

"Before your audience with her Ladyship, Mr. Mosley, she wants you to have a good meal and anything else that would help you feel more comfortable. We have a room for you, for the moment to at least eat and get your bearings together again, I'm sure its been quite the long ride." Said one of the guards of the palace. He was taken up to his room for about an hour before the guards returned to explain that her Ladyship was ready to receive him. Mosley was led through the palace back to the ground level, where he was taken down another flight of stairs leading below ground, here the guards escorted him down a stone and marble passageway that continually took them deeper inside the earth. Finally arriving at another set of door, these guarded by two women in trim white coats, the Lillian Guards. Before entering he was frisked for any weapons in from his shirt to having to take off his shoes, after this was done and nothing was found. The doors were opened and in front of Mosley was a large circular room, eight Lillian Guards stood along the edges, silent and not moving, while in the center sat Hannah along with her chamberlain off to her left.

"Lady Asgeirsson." Said one of the Lillians from behind Mosley. "May I present Oswald Mosley, Prime Minister of the Queensland Republic."

Hannah tapped on her right cheek with her finger for a moment as she eyed the Prime Minister up before getting up from her throne. "Your Excellency, I welcome you to Apophis, the capital of the Hanseatic Commonwealth. I believe you are here to discuss the information pertaining to the surrender and annexation of your Republic?" She nodded. "I believe it would only be right for you to begin."

OOC: The picture of Hannah is sort of just inspiration, her eyes really aren't white and she's not barefoot and the chair isn't corroded, but you get the idea.

OOC: I'll just assume that Mosley was "kidnapped" from Brisbane. You'll see why below.

IC: Oswald had been at the right place at the wrong time. Since the capital had moved to Toowoomba following the First Decree of the New Anglican High Representative, Brisbane was almost empty of all Queenslanders, both Anglo-Saxons and Finns. Mosley had been among the people who had stayed behind, trying to get as many people out of the coming war. Since he was the head of government, it was only right that he be the one talking to the Potentate. Of course, he wished that the circumstances of how he got here had been better, but that was relatively unimportant compared to what will happen. He began to speak.

"As noted in our "terms" of surrender, we wish to be allowed to move all people loyal to the former Queensland Government to a new land, after which the Commonwealth shall reincorporate former Queensland territory.. I hope that you, as the Hanseatic Potentate, would have the influence to help us obtain our wish. Internal discussion has led us to consider this location as the most suitable place to start."

He points to a certain location in Central Belarus.

"Since most than half of Queenslanders are Hanseatic Finns, I would say it is only right that Valkurheim would be the perfect place to start.

Now, you may wonder why we would want to be relocated to Valkurheim. We have been hearing accusations that the current Queenslander Government is as anti-Tintagylist as the one before. Nothing can be further from the truth: We are as much of a Tintagylist as you are, and we also wish to continue the legacy of the Lady Protector. However, all of us, especially the Finns, are against your rather..... heavy-handed methods, and since we all are rather tired of being so far away from our real home, we wish to return to Europe, to the last place that has the touch of the Lady Protector.

We had already contacted the Crimean about this, and so far they are concerned that our existance would cause problems, both due to our past government and the neighboring countries that wants Belarus. We hope that you may help us with our wishes. After all, you are essantially kicking your own people out of their homes."

Hannah leaned back against the chair as a smile broke over her face she pushed a few strands of hair out of her eyes and tapped her fingers lightly against her cheek. "So let me get this straight." The Potentate said standing up and walked down towards Mosley. "You want me to move you're entire nation to Valkurheim? You want to take Hanseatic Finns, probably one of the most hated cultures in Eastern Europe and land them almost smack dab in the center of that and proclaim Tintagylism." She started to laugh and shake her head. "I have to give you credit Mosley, either you're extremely brave and courageous or particularly stupid, but good lord if you think you're going to change Europe you have another thing coming entirely. Europeans don't change, they mask their true intentions and then remove the facade at their leisure."

She turned away from the map and began walking back to her throne playing with the tips of her fingers. "Now, as to my rather heavy-handed methods of doing things around here, maybe you are a true Tintagylist, full of blossoming ideals and so fourth, however I have a question. Valkurheim is not by any means the true homeland of the Hanseatic Finns, that my dear Mosley would be Helsinki." Hannah said clasping her hands behind her back. "So in addition to this, the Crimean government wants barely anything to do with you due to where you came from and what you will probably be implementing on their system. Plus, even more so you do realize who you are bordering here. Every country that borders you either wants the land back, such as Slavorussia or will be an enemy, as Greater Germany and Greater Dalmatia which is owned by the nephew of Scolar Visari himself. As I said, they could careless about Tintagylism."

Sitting back down on her throne Hannah leaned back back and tapped her fingers together. "First of all, I suggest you be a bit more respectful, I am not kicking my people out of their homes, I am removing a rogue government. But since those citizens seem so loyal to your new government and view me as the devil incarnate herself I won't press that matter further. However the Crimeans are right that your arrival there would cause problems, hence why I thought of two alternatives to your proposal before you came here. One would be giving you the islands of Micronesia, you're to the north, we're both out of each others hair and you never have to deal with this dreadful Commonwealth ever again." Hannah said mockingly. "Or we could ask New Anglica, your former protectors to take you in. For as friendly as they are and with so much goodwill in their hearts I'm surprised that they haven't offered some of their land to you already. Any how, I will send a message to the Crimean government asking if you may inhabit Valkurheim, because you seem so hell bent on that request. However, I will not force my will on a continent that I and my people want nothing to do with."

"You do not have to give me any credit. I am just following the wishes of my people. Personally, I don't give a damn about where we are. As for changing Europe, that's only if we have the power to defend ourselves, whihc would take some time given the situation. And yes, I know the dangers, even if most people are too closed to the concept that might is right in this harsh world, especially in Europe"

Mosley smile with agreement at Hannah's overall mocking attitude. "Regardlessly, since the people are so hell-bent, I would appreciate it if you would use your good offices to appeal to the Crimeans. Of course, there is a chance things might not succeed, but that's a disappointment for the people to face. As for the New Anglicans: I no longer trust Spencer with how she left us to your faith like this to save her own skin.

But let's assume that the Crimeans denies the request. Could you be more specific about the Micronesia offer?"

"To return to Valkurheim and not to Helsinki, I feel that this is more governments doing than the people. But I guess I don't know my own people as well as you do Mr. Mosley. Anyways, as to Micronesia, I will give you the entire Micronesian Island chain, but there is a catch. This is your territory that was given to you by me and there are Hanseatic citizens still on those island which I will not relocate therefore there are a few guidelines that you should be abiding to. First, your Republic and my own will have open borders, free trade, and so forth. The Pacific Trading Company will continue to hold property on the islands and you will receive a share of their profit. You are not allowed to lease the land to any other foreign country, you may not give any islands away as gifts to foreign countries, and at the disintegration of your state Micronesia will revert back to Hanseatic control. Foreign troops may not be stationed on Micronesia and for the time being until you can field a legitimate army you will be protected by Hanseatic soldiers. I would also be wary of the world and joining blocs, I find isolationism to be much more rewarding."

She bit her fingernail and closed her eyes. "I will be monitoring your nation and there will be a political adviser stationed there at all times, who will report back to me of what my citizens are up to. A leader takes care of her citizens whether they want to be under her rule or not yours are no different. Do not cross me Mosley, or I will not be as kind as I am now."

Lifting her head up she shot a hard gaze at the Prime Minister. "I will contact the Crimeans and tell you their response. After that discussion ends, you may begin your travel to Micronesia. Is there anything else you would like to discuss with me?"

Hannah smiled wide. "Well I own the entire island chain, unless you are talking about Guam that is and if that is the case, Guam will go into Hanseatic hands if Furon would ever wish to part with it. I am not conquering in your name Mosley and I would suggest for a nation that has no military that you mind that you're being given land in the first place. Do not get greedy, it will not suit well with me or with the world. But I believe we are finished here." She waved over to a Lillian Guard.

"Dominique, please take Mr. Mosley to his quarters in the Palac. You will be called after I receive word from the Crimeans."

With that, the Lillian took Mosley by the arm as he was taken out of the Inner Sanctum towards the upper rooms in Hannah's palace, while she continued to look at the map, particularly Valkurheim. "There's deeper reason than returning home here. I will be keeping my eye on you Mosley, always."

Mosley checked the map again with a puzzled look. "Unless I'm mistaken, Furon seems to have the Mariana Islands and the Caroline Islands, both of which are part of Micronesia. I'll leave it up to the esteemed Potentate to figure out this geographical puzzle."

As Mosley was led out of the room, he mumbled to himself in his head, "And of course, I'm pretty sure that your "good" offices will not work so well if you are the one with eyes on Valkurheim. Afer all, you are one who wants an Empire, contrary to the wishes of who you claim to follow."

To: His Excellency, Erik Bertrake of Crimea

From: Hannah Asgeirsson, Potentate of the Hanseatic Commonwealth

Excellency,

As you are probably no doubt aware if you have paid any attention to news coming out of Eastern Australia, the nation know as the Queensland Republic has been finally annexed by the Hansa and the city of Brisbane restored. I know you Erik might fight a little bit of joy in this knowing this, considering you and Sarah were friends in the past, whilst I have no reason to believe the rest of Europe feels the same I can at least hope that Crimea still views us as at least acquaintances as we do the same to you. However not to drone out this letter I will get right to the point, the Queenslander Government has expressed a deep interest in relocating their government to the area around Valkurheim. Now, I understand as well that this is probably a bad idea and I did warn him against this especially the fact of an openly Tintagylist government bordering Greater Germany, it is a horror that I would rather see not delivered to these people and I have offered them the ability to relocate to Helsinki, but alas they are stubborn.

I have noticed however that in Valkurheim the existence of a few Tintagylian City-States have arisen, which with a little man power the Queenslanders could probably befriend. However I doubt the purity in their statements and so if you do agree to relinquish Valkurheim to these people, I humbly ask that a political adviser is accompanied along with their government and between you and me, the stationing of fifty Lillian Guards in Crimea just to help out if the situation could get out of hand. I'm a woman that cleans up her own messes. However, the relocate of these people is what they desire more than anything else that they have said they have contacted you once before. Get back to me when you can with your answer, and if so expect a long line of exodus planes arriving in Belarus.

Regards,

Hannah Asgeirsson,

Potentate of the Commonwealth

P.S. Erik, another note, if any word of communication between Angela Spencer and the Queenslanders take place this is immediate cause of invasion. I will not let some American imperialist try and spread her web twice to the same people.

Erik smiled when he received the letter. "The Hansa is back."

"Who?" Vince asked while trying to remove his axe from a dummy.

"The Hanseatic Commonwealth? Remember, the government responsible for Austervania? Norsvea's first allies?"

"Oh yeah, them. So what, we gonna have some talks?"

"Maybe later. What do you think about the Tintagylists in Valkurheim getting independence."

"I'm fine with it. Some upstart there has got a good following?"

"No, someone from Australia has been kicked out."

"He planning an army?"

Erik looked at Vince. Vince looked back at Erik. "!@#$ Erik, you know they're gonna get $%&@ed if !@#$ starts rising."

"I am fully aware, Vince. Hannah seems to be confident of their skills."

"But..."

"She's gonna place some special forces in the territory, and I'm thinking we'll place a few Grünmacht squads in there."

"Fine. You better know what you're doing."

To: Her Excellency, Potentate Hannah Asgeirsson

From: Kanzler Erik Betrakte

Excellency Asgeirsson,

We have been paying attention to the news, and both I and Vince were quite pleased to see that Brisbane -- what's left of it -- is controlled by its rightful owners. So, we are still on good terms with you all as far as myself and Vince are concerned. He says Hello, by the way.

I must admit, both myself and Vinzent were a little adamant to having a pro-tintagylist government near there. However, I will assure you that if they get out of line, they will be silenced. As peaceful and democratic as we are, we will not falter when forced with invasion, as we know you are. If they want Valkurheim, they will get it. It would be a new experience for us to watch over a government, even two, as another group has contacted us for a request for independence.

Also, you will be pleased to know we have changed the policy on air-dropped soldiers.

We have prepared the airports, and both myself and Vinzent will be awaiting the political advisor and the guard, and if they wish, they can have a home in Crimea. This is only a precaution, in case things get bad in Valkurheim. We will also have some guerilla troops stationed there, as they have been in all of our territories for the time they have been...well, territorries.

Eh, my writing's not that great, I think you'll find that out.

Have a great day,

Erik Betrakte, Kanzler

Vinzent Beauregaurd Sixx, Kaiser

"Oh thank the Lord." Said Hannah as she passed of the letter to Loew. "Considering that I doubt the Queenslanders and the Commonwealth would have had any such things as amiable relations the further away they are from us the better."

"That doesn't mean that they won't cause trouble in Europe Ladyship." Said Colonel Sagittel from across the room.

"Fifty Lillian Guards would say otherwise Andrew."

"And as to Marines or Regulars?"

"Not needed, we wouldn't be taking over the country. The last thing I want is a colony in Europe. They are simply there to provide the Crimeans with a bit of Hanseatic force if necessary. In addition, Captain Annette du Musline will be acting as a political adviser to the Valkurheim government."

"Adviser? The Europeans are going to view that as a puppet government?"

"Nothing of the sort Andrew." Hannah smiled. "Annette will be there to simply comment of what is going on in their nation. She'll have access to the government meetings and such and will be able to report back to me to make sure nothing undesirable is happening in the city. I would send Valeria, but she doesn't have the necessary training if things would get out of hand, Annette has been in the Guard for almost a year now. Anyways, Andrew, send someone up to Mosley and tell him that as soon as he is ready he can begin moving his population to Valkurheim, you know, congratulations and all that. I'm sure he'll be thrilled not having to deal with me anymore." She scoffed.
