While we may not be neighbors, and we are separated by a vast ocean, that does not mean friends cannot be found. All we ask for, is for a moment of your time, to sit down and talk, to work out relationships, to plant the seed, a seed that could sprout, into a wonderful 'tree', if you will.

If you would have it, we would like to ask if you could send a representative to Tokyo, to meet with our Leader, to talk, and if possible, a treaty, such as a NAP, unless you feel otherwise. If you wish to decline, we completely understand.

We hope to see you in Tokyo.

Curristan is happy to accept the invitation Minister for Foreign Affairs Mark Richards is being sent to Furon immediately.

Prophet strode towards the private Tokyo airstrip used by government members, and foreign guests. He extended a hand, saying, "Welcome, Mr. Richards! It is quite an honor to have you with us today. My name is Prophet, the leader of Furon. Please, if you will follow me, we'll be going straight to the Capitol, where a meeting room has already been arranged." He led the Foreign Affairs minister to a limousine, and opened the door for him, before going to the other side and taking a seat opposite of him.

"Tell me, Mr. Richards, before we go to the meeting room and discuss things, is there anything you would like to know about Furon, or anything that you could tell me about Curristan? I admit, my knowledge of American nations that don't border the Pacific is rather limited, so I hope you'll forgive me if I seem ignorant," said Prophet.

"Nice to meet you. Curristan is a democracy and usually stays out of non American affairs. However, our President has decided to bring Curristan out of semi isolation and fully engage with nations in Asia and Europe. I am interested to know more about Furon."

"Nice to meet you. Curristan is a democracy and usually stays out of non American affairs. However, our President has decided to bring Curristan out of semi isolation and fully engage with nations in Asia and Europe. I am interested to know more about Furon."

"Furon is, geographically, located within Japan. Four islands make up the geographical area of Japan - Hokkaido, the Northern Island; Honshu, the largest island; Shikoku, the second to last island, heading southward, and Kyushu, the island most south. The current national-religion, is that of Arkvoodle. That's not to say that Arkvoodle is the only religion - there are a multitude of religions present in Furon, it's just that, Arkvoodle is the only one that is state-funded, in terms of building arrangements. There is a small account set aside, for other religions, however, if the need ever arises.

Aside from that, Furon has been looking for allies, and friends, as Asia grows increasingly more volatile. We feel that, and we are sad to note this, our Asian brethren aren't the type of people we should associate with. Not all, but the majority. Nonetheless, you can never have too many friends, and if one thing shows in recent events, friends are something you need. Militarily or economically, for that matter," said Prophet.

The limo arrived at the Capitol building, with both men stepping out. A private security detail led the duo to the meeting room, furnished with a large mahogany table, with Arkvoodlian symbols inscribed upon its surface. "Tell me, Mr. Richards. If any at all, what type of treaty would Curristan consider?"

A jetliner descended through the air in Tokyo. A New Englander flag was shown on its sides as well tailpins as the jetliner steadily descended upon a runaway of the airport in Tokyo. With a soft 'plop', the jetliner landed on the runaway, where it came to a steady stop. A staircase was placed in front of the door as it was opened, and a figure stepped out.

But it wasn't the handsome and charming President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Instead, a towering figure descended down the stairs as he scanned the Tokyo skyline. With his balding gray hair slicked back, he looked like a typical Texan rather than a New Englander in his gray suit. But what foreigners would notice wasn't the man's aged appearance nor the heavy lines that creased his face, but his ears. His huge ears which jutted out from the sides of his head like an elephant. He was Lyndon Baines Johnson, the current President of the Republic of New England and the successor of President Kennedy. He was on his first diplomatic trip aboard.

President Johnson smiled as he reached the ground and approached a group of Furion officials. Behind him, Secretary of State Franklin Delano Roosevelt was being brought down the staircase by agents to a waiting wheelchair on the ground.

"I have been instructed to get a friendship treaty with an economic clause. This is because President Blakc feels that a defence pact will be out of Curristan's capibilities due to distance and the logistics. The treaty would benefit both our economies and strengthen ties between our nations."

Splendid! We will make sure everything is prepared for the Vice President, and will attend to any accommodations that he desires. We joyously await his arrival in Tokyo.

A private room was set aside within the Capitol building's residential area - it was a special place designed to house foreign guests - in the event that the talks with the Vice-President took longer than they were supposed to. Prophet stood outside, near one of the private airstrips owned by the Government, in Tokyo.

The plane carrying Vice President Leonard L. Church arrived, slowing down and coming to an eventual stop. A ladder was attached to the plane, allowing the VP to step out, into Tokyo. Prophet bowed, before shaking the man's hand. "Vice President Church - it is an honor to meet you at least. Please, before we head to the Meeting Hall, allow me to introduce myself:

My name is, well, secret, but I go by Prophet, within Furon. I am the Leader of the Arkvoodle religion, as well as the leader of Furon. For governmental terms, and for all intensive purposes, I'm the President of Furon. We will most certainly talk more, but if you would please follow me, a limousine awaits to take us to the Meeting Hall. I will gladly discuss anything you wish to, on the way there, Mr. Church." said Prophet.

President Johnson smiled as he reached the ground and approached a group of Furion officials. Behind him, Secretary of State Franklin Delano Roosevelt was being brought down the staircase by agents to a waiting wheelchair on the ground.

Prophet was slightly surprised to see a man who looked almost as if he should be retiring soon - needless to say, most heads of states were that way. In either event, the man looked neither wizened nor young. It was as if he was in a state of limbo, trapped in a form of human-purgatory.

Almost as if it was some sort of joke, another surprise awaited the 'President' of Furon: Roosevelt was wheel-chair bound. Prophet hadn't been expecting that, in the slightest bit - Not that it bothered him. He wasn't one to discriminate - bigotry didn't deserve to exist in the chaotic world called Bob. Nonetheless, he was jovial that New England had agreed to meet with him.

"It is an honor to finally meet you, President Johnson, Mr. Roosevelt. I am Prophet, 'President' of Furon, Leader of the Church of Arkvoodle, Lord of the Sacred Crotch. If you'll follow me, we'll be escorted to the Meeting Hall, where proper negotiations can begin. If there's any questions you may have, anything at all, please do not hesitate. It is important that mutual understanding be achieved, here," said Prophet, leading the pair to the limousine.

"I have been instructed to get a friendship treaty with an economic clause. This is because President Blakc feels that a defence pact will be out of Curristan's capibilities due to distance and the logistics. The treaty would benefit both our economies and strengthen ties between our nations."

"That sounds like a splendid idea, Mr. Richards. It is perfectly understandable - a defensive pact would put quite a strain on our logistics as well. What type of economical treaty would you suggest? I believe free-access through the Tsugaru strait, would be a likable clause, for Curristan. What else do you think should be included?" inquired Prophet.

"We could include a clause that gives Furon companies a chance to sell their products on the Curristan Market at lowered marketing rates. That will also give both economies a boost because revenue will be coming to Furon and a competitive market will benefit Curristan."

"This is great news. Would Curristan like to write up the draft, or shall Furon?" asked Prophet.

President Johnson and Secretary Roosevelt smiled as Prophet introduced himself. "As you may know, my name is Lyndon Baines Johnson, and this is Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the Secretary of State. We look forward to participate in negotiations and to learn about this wonderful nation." The President said as Roosevelt flashed his charming smile and nodded in agreement.

With that, the President followed Prophet to the waiting limousine as Roosevelt was being wheeled besides him.

After seating themselves within the limousine, Prophet began speaking. "Once more, let me say it is an honor to welcome you to Furon. Although I'm being redundant, if there are any questions about Furon you wish to ask, please do not hesitate. On that note, I'd like to ask a few about New England, before we arrive:

How does New England view Furon, economically, diplomatically, etc, and how willing is New England to sign a treaty, or what kind of treaty, if any?"

President Johnson chuckled. "Allright, I do have some questions about Furon. I'll answer your questions first, though. I must admit that I do not know much about Furon, hence the reason for this diplomatic trip, but what I do know is that Furon is a honorable nation that I can only look forward to furthering relations with. Admittably, our investment in Furon is rather...low when compared to other nations, and I seek to change that. For right now, New England would be willing to sign a simple treaty with you, such as a NAP or PIAT."

Johnson paused for a moment as Roosevelt took over. "I have some questions as well. What is the staple diet of Furon, that is if you have one, and do they have good sushi here? Lastly, what are the views of Furon on New England in all aspects?"

Prophet turned to Roosevelt, responding to his questions. "For the most part, fish of all sorts and kind are part of our diet, and yes, sir, our sushi is excellent," said Prophet, grinning. "For the most part, our views of almost all American nations, are limited. With our foreign opportunities within Asia...limited, as of now, we've been seeking more trust-worthy allies, such as the fine and proud American nations.

We've attempted to open up communications and relations with as many American nations as we can, but so far, our responses have been limited. For that reason, we're interested in making the best of your trip, and as such, we'd be delighted to sign a PIAT or NAP with New England."

The limousine stopped outside of the Capitol, as they all stepped out. Prophet led the trio into the meeting hall, which had a large mahogany table placed in the center of the room, ornate and elaborate symbols and such carved into it, and the marble floors, which the foreigners could only guess were part of the aforementioned deity's, Arkvoodle, religion. "Please, sit down so that we can continue our discussions," said Prophet, indicating a spot across from him. "If you have any more questions before we begin the proper discussions, please, ask them so that I can answer them," said Prophet.

"Yes i do find this treaty acceptable." He signed it and attached the Curristan President's Signature as well:

"If it is alright with you, Furon would like the honor of announcing the treaty. Is that acceptable, Mr. Richards?" asked Prophet.
