Carrier Task Force One, built around the Sao Paolo, will blockade the colony and ensure they do not receive any new supplies or reinforcements. They will also lay minefields. Three submarine hunting pairs and one trio will assist in this operation. The 1st and 2nd Armoured Corps have moved to cut off the southern part of the Polish colony from the North. The 5,000 troops of the Polish Venezuelan Defence Corps(PVDC) have organized the local citizenry of Caracas(about 50-100k) of them into a Civil Defence front to allow the successful start of defencive operations against the Brasillian Invaders. In addition supplies and troops in the amount of 75,000 are being ferried and flown in from British Colonies and the Polish Homeland the orders for which have been sent out before the blockade was issued.Polish Intelligence experts have broken the cipher codes that are used for the Brasillian Military and the warnings were sent out to the proper authorities in good time. To defeat the blockade the Polish Navy has also been deployed and will accompany the resupply and troop fleet to defend it from the Brasillian hostiles. The home guard which is made up of the citizenry will be armed with the weaponry that is kept in supply by Civil Defence authorities just for this occasion. After crossing Gibraltar with little problems, (international convention stated that forces controlling Gibraltar could not close it to native nations inside the Mediterranean) the small task force steamed south towards the South American continent. freakwars Posted October 7, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2009 OOC:Just so you know I have 1 destroyer, 10 frigates, and 5 corvettes, which were all part of the Old Brazillian Navy, and the blockade began immediately. Also, you wouldn't be able to break a code that fast. IC: The militia troops defending Caracas broke before the veteran soldiers of the Brasillian Army. Many defected when told that Brasil was not going to keep the territory, but rather, was going to return it to the native peoples. The PVDC troops held fast and made the Brasillians pay dearly. The planes based off of the Sao Paolo shot down some of the troops being ferried, but not all were detected. Approximately 56,000 troops made it through. Interestingly enough, the stealth la-fayette class frigate, the "L'Afrique Libertie", has broken off from the task force and has proceeded to bear straight south. Also, have you ever heard of a little thing called PGP? To the best of publicly available information, there is no known method which will allow a person or group to break PGP encryption by cryptographic or computational means and that is a public encryption method. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretty_Good_Privacy And also,I outnumbered you with 120,000 men from two Corps, with tanks, which could easily break an outnumbered militia, which from the way you originally worded it would be just formed and therefore not drilled at all. Once the Brasilian ships were in range, firing commenced with salvos of Exocet ASMs. Also, flights of Rafales carrying anti-ship missiles [Exocet], as well as escorts, have taken off from the "L'Afrique Fraternitie". They are being launched at the carrier of the Brasilian fleet. -Meanwhile- The Lafayette carefully straddles Brasilian waters as it makes its way down the South Atlantic. IC: the 102,500 men(total) and 1500 tanks form defensive perimeters around the area do to this maneuver the Brasillians are encircled and surrounded by the Polish tanks and troops. the troops acting under orders start shelling and firing upon the invaders taking out of action 30,000 troops killed and 23,000 captured and 300 tanks. Polish losses were 5,000 troops lost and 70 tanks. IC: and yet more troops are pouring in from Poland and other lands, the Polish Navy has arrived after being under power for the 15 days or so it has been. with the fleet while being severely undergunned by that of the Brasillians unleashes its full salvos at the enemies firing many rounds of torpedoes and shells at the destroyers, frigates and corvettes, setting ablaze the destroyer and knocking out her communications system(from many torpedo and gun fire hits). the corvettes and frigates beat a retreat as their command ship started to founder and sink as it tilted on its starboard side and slipped slowly beneath the waves. the ships made full steam into the line of hastily laid Polish Mines(why else bring mine layers) and started taking more damage from the Polish ships. All the while hastily organized deployments of Polish Venezuelan Naval Forces which include the forces of destroyers: F-23 General Urdaneta, i F-24 General Soublette, F-25 General Salóm, F-26 Almirante GarcÃa, These ships sortie out of Caracas and engage the enemy along with their Polish comrades. However, this is the fantasy RP board, and they are entitled to RP here reguardless of how popular CNRP is. Usually there is a tag to show it as ERP; this is probebly the only one without the ERP tag. Anyway, I am really sorry about this OOC. Reserve troops were organised back in the homeland should they be necessary. HMS Illustrious Aircraft Carrier, multiple Frigates and Destroyers accompanied by over 50,000 men were now departing for Brasil.
