Jerahoam
A short message was sent to Cochin reading "Kivortistan accepts your offer to open relations, one of our leaders will arrive by aircraft, so please inform your air defenses of our coming." Jerahoam
Upon hearing the reply, Frederick Relex who was dressed in his complete military attire was walknig towards a waiting commercial airliner which was waiting to transport him to Cochin's capital. He was going to arrive in a truck earlier in his thinking, but had ruled it out since if Cochin citizens saw a leader of their country arriving in a truck it would make their country look weak not to mention going through checkpoints. He boarded the plane and relaxed in a red seat in the aisles. He was the only one on the plane, besides the captain and other personnel. He was just hoping that everything would go alright with this. It was going to be the first time a leader had stepped on foreign soil since its birth and he did not want anything to go wrong with the meeting so he was planning it out in his head the whole trip. The trip was extremely short being a mere 40 minutes for them to arrive at the specified Sakthan International Airport, Relex was nervous at first, but then sucked it up as he exited the plane and stepped off the airplane onto Cochin soil... king of cochin
Since it was the first visit of a dignitary from Kivortistan, full diplomatic welcoming protocol was laid out. Frederick Relex would be welcomed by a Honor Guard and would be escorted by the Minister of External Affairs, Mr. KP Varma to the Hill Palace. At the Hill Palace, the administrative seat of the Kingdom of Cochin, King's Guards soldiers would escort them to the King's office where the King of Cochin, His Highness Rama Varma would greet the Kivortistan Triumvirate member, and leader of the Cossack Army, Frederick Relex. "Greetings, Mr. Relex. Thank you for visiting our country. I hope the travel was not tiring?"
Jerahoam
Relex observed the view of Cochin city on the way to the Hill Palace thinking to himself "I can't believe that about two months ago we thought of invading this country, who has so openly welcomed myself now. Times sure do change fast.." "Greetings, Mr. Relex. Thank you for visiting our country. I hope the travel was not tiring?" "Greetings Mr. Varma, Your Highness. The travel was not very tiring, but to me all travel gets tiring if I do not keep myself busy doing something. You have a very nice palace and I am honored to have this meeting with you regarding our countries relations. Hopefully this can go as well as i planned in my head" said Relex. king of cochin
"We understand that you felt some derision at our refusal to permit your deployments to Dragonisia, but I hope you understand that it would be highly irregular to allow an unallied nation's military transit rights through one's territory. Past is past, and I hope we can move beyond its influence towards greater friendship. I must confess, I am rather surprised that it was you who came to our nation, is not Mr.Bogdanov the person in charge of external affairs in Kivortistan?" Jerahoam
"Ahh yes Mr. Bogdanov... although this is usually his job, we felt that someone a little more important should undergo this trip since it is that important to us to establish a good relationship with one of our closest neighbors. This is also to try to establish trust between us since I am perfectly confident that nothing bad is going to happen while I am in the country, so I trust you enough to keep me and my pilot safe. So I guess you just have to be stuck with me your highness" he said jokingly at the end.

We are quite glad to have a visit from you. And there need be no doubt that any harm or inconvenience would befall you or your men while in Cochin territory. We, take pride in our hospitality and in the age old diplomatic traditions of our Kingdom. Diplomats, even if they are from our mortal enemies, are accorded sacrosanct safety of person. We are glad that Kivortistan is willing to set up diplomatic relations with our nation. As you may have noticed the Kingdom has signed a number of treaties lately. We seek to leave behind the turbulent pasts of our nation and embark on a fresh start. We would be much obliged, if in the interests of Asian stability you would consent to be allied to us." Jerahoam
"We would be honored to have a treaty with your nation and we were thinking of something along this lines to be the goal of this meeting. For we are trying to open up relations besides the one we have with the AUP. However, what kind of an alliance exactly do you have in mind?" replied Relex. king of cochin
"What we have to offer for now is a Non Aggression Pact and a Free Trade Pact which could be upgraded into a Mutual Defense Pact in the future when the comfort levels between our nations are greater. We also understand that your nation undergoes some internal turmoils which has only lately subsided. If Kivortistan needs any sort of support in that regard we are ever willing to lend a helping hand. We also put forward a suggestion that a Rail/Road network be laid between our two nations, such an investment would bring about much benefits to our mutual trade and cultural relations." Jerahoam
OOC: I see you've been reading my news, I was going to do a RP explaining that turmoil, but then i lost my internet for 12 days and never got to post it. I will probably post something about it later, but right now it has subsided. IC: "A Non Aggression Pact and a free trade pact would be a great thing for the both of us, and I will agree to such when a formal paper is laid down that I can sign. About the Rail and Road networks that would be a great idea which would have long term benefits as you have said. I would be all for such a motion." said Relex
