prather6 Posted September 13, 2009 Report Share Posted September 13, 2009 The United Front Swats Flies The United Front, in regards to our ties of friendship with our allies Galactic Imperium hereby announces the activation of Article II of the Fantastic Four Treaty: Defense and Support any aggression against a signatory of this agreement shall be considered aggression against all signatories of this bloc and will be acted upon as such, all signatories of this agreement are obligated to provide full financial, moral and military support towards each other. Under all circumstances, support and aid should be provided to any signatory under attack unless a council assembly is requested by any cosignatory. We won't stand by and let our friends get poached by some rouge entity. We really don't know what to coin this; as the rouge entity the Sith Empire is so small. So we hereby declare we're going to take out the flyswatter and strike at these nations feeding on our friends. The United Front stands by all its treaties no matter how small the alliance, nor how large. (As long as they're in the right) We requested all information regarding this incident and reviewed it thoroughly finding our friends are correct in their actions. As they don't have enough small nations to support them against this threat, we do. They continued and ignored said warnings, if you want to feel sorry for them at this point thats on you but otherwise there isn't a problem here. If individual nations come to us seeking peace and will make the reps to our allies then theres no reason this won't end just as quickly as it would if we were to whipe them out. So obviously your one to only stand by your allies if there is equal intention or equivalent power on either side. You would rather see your allies harmed then stand by a treaty you made, to send out a little help; so that they don't have to endure the suffering they never asked for. You would rather see them attacked and endure poaching then to send out a few messily millions or a few good soldiers to stand by them in their time of need. Well I feel sorry for any alliance that would fall under a protectorate you created. I would feel sorry for any small alliance that would join a bloc with you. I would feel sorry for any allies of yours as you obviously wouldn't honor a treaty with them unless they were attacked by a equivalent force to yours. What a sad sad observation and one not well thought out on your part my friend; as it seems by your validation of treaties their just small useless documents; unless the invading force is equal to yours. Standing by your friends is not honorable in your book. Instead you would rather see your friends fall instead of taking the time to relive them form the threat . This is the problem with treaties today, no one is willing to stand by the words they proclaimed to. We're not here to exert perceived "force" were here to stand by our allies no matter what the threat entails. Yes this one may be a small but we would do the same for a much larger threat. It's not to exert force my friend, it's to stand by something we signed and it's to stand by an alliance that has done nothing to no one, our friends Galactic Imperium. emmabuddieTUF Posted September 14, 2009 Report Share Posted September 14, 2009 (edited) im not quite understanding the need for the negativity here. i would like to ask you for what you would do if you had signed a treaty with certain alliances, your alliance had risen above the other alliances, this is a fact not a boast. and 1 of the alliances is having trouble with an alliance such as they have here. would you... A) break the guild lines of the treaty built and tell them to sort there own problems out or b ) yes help defend them because thats what you signed for in your treaty, thats what would be expected of us and vise versa if we had trouble, theirfore breaking the treaty would make us look bad as an alliance. like what is a treay for anyway? we never ment to offend any1 here today. we choose what we did to be a good organised alliance who can be trusted by others.
