I just bought a moon base so forgive me if I'm asking stupid questions... maybe up date the OP with some basic FAQ stuff?

Do I need to move anything but the mine to get the full bonus?

Like does the base only cut 4% off infra expenses when it's on the 100% spot?

Post some coords and effectiveness values, like the last month's hotspot to start.

And like last time, to make the most of your wonders, move 1, wait for me to recalculate, and then try out the next point I suggest.

Last Month's hotspot:
Location: -25.00000, 165.00000
now 84% effective

I've never participated in the hunt (usually forget until a few days into the month) but I've got three to move if you give me an idea of how far and which direction to go.

Ok, try out this one: (-15, -174) URL: lon=-174&lat=-15

Will post a map soon.

Next thing to try:

(-36, 142) URL: lon=142&lat=-36

Looks like this might be the actual hotspot.

Location: -36.00000, 142.00000
Effectiveness: 99%

I fumbled one of my moves, so I wasted an attempt. Here's the data anyway, for what it's worth (maybe it'll help narrow down that last percent):

Location: -25.65143, 165.81940
Effectiveness: 84%

Ok, I have to leave early tonight, but there are only 4 possible spots left, so you guys can easily finish from here.

Try them out in this order:

(-34.99999999, 142) URL: lon=142&lat=-34.99999999
(-36, 143) URL: lon=143&lat=-36
(-37, 142) URL: lon=142&lat=-37
(-37, 143) URL: lon=143&lat=-37

Possible Moon Hotspot Locations (July 2011):

Alright, it looks like the hotspot is most likely in one of these 3 locations (try them in order, from top to bottom):
(-28, 158) URL: lon=158&lat=-28
(-27, 158) URL: lon=158&lat=-27
(-28.99999999, 159) URL: lon=159&lat=-28.99999999

If none of those 3 work, try these:
(-27, 157) URL: lon=157&lat=-27
(-26, 157) URL: lon=157&lat=-26
(-26, 156) URL: lon=156&lat=-26
(-25, 156) URL: lon=156&lat=-25
(-25, 155) URL: lon=155&lat=-25
(-23.99999998, 155) URL: lon=155&lat=-23.99999998
(-23, 154) URL: lon=154&lat=-23

Points Tried so far (lat, long):
(-35, 142): 89%
(-15, 170): 88%

Oh, with those new points, the hotspot should be at (-28, 158) URL: lon=158&lat=-28.
Can someone test it out?

Apologies for what may be a stupid question, but how do I see what the new coordinates are when I try to move one of my facilities before I click to make the actual move and spend the money? Or is it just hit and miss based on approximating the posted screen shots?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Never mind, I found the answer earlier in the thread (post #59). It worked like a charm!
