Antonio Salovega VI Posted November 1, 2007 Report Share Posted November 1, 2007 For those that do improvement swapping, I suggest that you use Transitional during tax paying phase. You will pay 5% less on Improvement/Wonder bills which in my case at least makes up the largest chuck of my bills. In addition you receive an 8% soldier efficiency bonus and become 10% more effective with your spies. Land area increases by a modest 5% as well. With the drop in the importance of tech the latter may be somethin of worth when it comes to determining NS. I believe that Monarchy is still best for tax collection. Since I collect every 4 to 19 days depending on the circumstances (and I like to keep potential enemies guessing) I am seldom in the Monarchy state except for those few minutes when I need to be.
