Better a good neighbour...

The following message has been sent to all nations neighboring Zargathia and any and all known treaty partners of former Yamato.

To: (insert nation name here)

From: Zargathia (formerly known as Yamato)

Subject: Clarification.

Greetings,

As you are no doubt aware, a lot has happened in Asia recently, culmionating in Yamato's fall into anarchy. However, with some assistance io have managed to gain power, and am currently in the process of setting up a transitional government before this state of anarchy can spread unrest to other nations. For this purpose, the national guard has been called to fortify the borders. We wish to reiterate that we have no hostile intentions, but we wish to return a feeling of security to the former Yamatojins to aid the process of getting the nation back on it's feet again.

Also, we would like to remind you that all treaties signed with Yamato will have to be renewed to apply to Zargathia. Please contact us to set an appointment for this purpose on a mutually convenient time and date.

Awaiting your reply,

(scribble)

HRH Queen Amyante Tojimaru

Zargathia.

Dear Amyante,

I see full well that you are taking to your new homeland as best as any nation could and for that I am extremely proud to see your people excel so well from their time on the islands outside of Taeunas to Manchuria. As your people posses already a great deal of populace that came from the Hanseatic Republic originally and even now that you were birthed from our protectorate. Let me be the first to tell you that if you are ever, ever attacked by an outside force, they will have to deal with the entire might of the Commonwealth and perhaps in such a heinous event, our allies as well. My people and I are dedicated to defending Zargathia and therefore, if you are deeming yourself the steward of the Yamatojin people, we had open border agreements and an economic treaty with them as well.

To be honest, Yamato did have strong diplomatic ties to the Pacific Rim, such as Pax Pacifica and the Australasian Coalition and after Pax is reorganized we hope that you will join to further bring stability to your region. Zargathia can count on any economic aid or military support from us, all they need to do is ask.

Sincerely,

Sarah Tintagyl

Lady Protector of the Hanseatic Commonwealth

Dear Sarah,

Zargathia is grateful for the confidence the Commonwealth place in our young nation. After some pending domestic matters have been dealt with, we would be looking forward to negotiating a continuation of these treaties. With the Yellow Turban threat mostly over, we believe the situation to be manageable enough without needing to request aid, though humanitarian transports will be provided access to cross the borders should a request be made to the Zargathian government.

At the current rate, we believe to have the situation normalised by next month, after which we can lower DEFCON to a more agreeable level and start preparing for elections.

Sincerely,

Amyante Tojimaru

Queen of Zargathia.

Among the general ssages sent out would be a general notice from the government that DEFCON was lowered from 1 to 2 given that the main battle with the Yellow Turbans was now mostly resolved.

We are willing to offer the full services of the government of Novus Niciae to the Yamatojins and assist them in anyway that we can.

They assisted us once in an hour of need and we will be always in their debt.

We have large supplies of aid waiting in our hangers and it can be delivered at a moments notice.

Regards

Prime Minister Abigail Johns

For the Senate and People of Novus Niciae.

To Johns and N Reeki, the following message is sent.

To: Prime Minister Abigail Johns

From: Zargathia

Subject: Aid offer.

At this moment, we are still in the process of restoring order in our country. Once this process is completed it will be deemed safe enough for aid to be brought in, but at this moment in time there is still a chance it might end up in the hands of looters. Your gesture is welcomed however, and will be called upon when the roads have been deemed safe for travel again.

Also, if you are interested, would you be willing to send an expert on electionary procedures to the capital? Elections will be needed soon, and we wish to ensure these will be held fairly.

Sincerely,

HRH Queen Amyante Tojimaru

Zargathia

To: Emperor Yuan Zhi Wei

From: Zargathia

Subject: Military offer.

At this moment, Zargathia is purposefully closed to foreign troops in an attempt to calm the people, and give them the feeling they are still being watched over. The Zargathian armed forces have adopted the Yamato uniforms for this purpose. In light of this, we would request the Type-99's to assist our troops in patrolling the borders against smugglers and Yellow Turban loyalists, as we believe an international force to help reduce border tensions. Yamato's reputation was not impeccable.

Kindly contact us with more details in order for us to prepare for your arrival.

Sincerely,

HRH Queen Amyante Tojimaru

Zargathia

Also, Zargathia has no response to the lack of response from Palintine :P

"Zargathia welcomes the opportunity to renew a MDP with one of its neighbors. However, we request you send us a copy of the two treaties involved as we are still in the middle of reorganisations."

The sounds of someone choking in their tea could be heard coming from the Queen's office, which incidentally would be the same office the Yamato ruler had previously occupied.

- "They agreed to WHAT?!?"

Less than five minutes thereafter, more long distance calls were being made. It was a good thing the phone company was the property of the state, or she'd have spent most of the tax revenue on the bills...
