Some group has either framed the Dragon Empire in Khmer for an attack on a village, or Khmer is intentionally provoking a conflict. Our diplomats to Khmer have been slain. Pax Pacis has attempted to breach our borders and will be repelled. We are recognizing a stat of war with Pax Pacis.. a war in our defense. Khmer and Pax Pacis have not waited for investigation into the actual cause of the massacre at this village, but attacking Khmer runs in contradiction to every strategic goal of the Empire. We do not want this war. It makes no sense why we would either. That said, we are innocent in regards to their claims, but they have attacked us anyhow. This is why I have written you, it is time to activate our defensive treaties. We request that you send any aid available and at your disposal to assist us in containing and overwhelming this threat.. to bring an expedient end to this conflict to minimize civilian and military loss of life to both sides. At that point we would like to see a joint peace-keeping force occupy Pax Pacis and Khmer.. but only if necessary.. only if they do not allow for investigation and continue to insist on this conflict. If they do, it is at that point they will have proven their ill intent and corruption in their governments. We do know Pax Pacis has been preparing for war for a very long time, they mobilized their troops and built them up, then moved them to our border. At first we did not know why. Now we do. They have been looking for any conceivable excuse to attack us. Now they have one even though it is a lie. Now they attack us, based upon that lie. We look forward to seeing you by our sides on the battlefield. Peace be with you and yours. If you pray, please keep our troops in mind. No hostilities have even occurred between the DE/Khmer as of yet. The incursion has been repelled. The enemy is back in their borders and our border guard has re-entrenched. We are going to make attempts to simply hold them at bay til this matter is settled. They're still engaged in cross-border shelling but we've already ordered civilian evacuations of the zones in question ever since they began moving troops up to the borders about 1-2 weeks ago. We've lost a few fighters to their air assault and a few ground assets from their ground offensive. They continue heavy shelling across the border. More likely your air forces will be put on vectors with ours flying artillery suppression. We appreciate the contribution. Tanker refueling and airbase occupancy are at your AF's disposal. The squadrons are greeted warmly by their airborne peers and once on the ground would be treated as the most esteemed and honored of guests. The Dragon Empire buys life insurance policies on each pilot so that if they are killed in the line of duty.. in addition to their standard military pension.. an additional sum of gratitude would be forwarded to the families of those who lost loved ones defending a foreign state and a proper monument could be built to their heroism. Allow Hanseatic troops to enter the territory alone and set the nation up as a semi-autonomous region, governed from Brisbane. A colony in effect, but this is so that we can make sure that the renegade government is under our control and that no further transgressions will come from this. We find it a horrible thing that our former fatherland has found itself juxtaposed between ourselves and an enemy. while we demand reparations for the injustices perpetuated in this assault against our citizens and the cost to our nations, we are still willing to talk about it. The Empire has turned the first cheek, but it only has two. A second attack will invoke a policy of war against Pax Pacis. All we demand at this time are a return to pre-war borders and reparations for the damage done including the value of life insurance policies we have on our soldiers and citizens. We do know this.. the next strike that comes across that border will result in a full invasion of Pax Pacis with no restrictions. As for the situation in Khmer, we are open to talks with them at any time they see fit about this issue, we are angry they killed our diplomats.
