King Kevz
ooc: I'm assuming a .1-1%casualty rate per day. That's a fairly large sum in any given conflict. Probably near the higher end given the terrain even with probable airspace dominance and the missile bombardment. However, the Guided MRLS system combined with Tiamat missiles is an unrelenting beast that'd be near impossible to hide from save in the most fortified bunkers. Combine that with the Tiamats dropped from long range bombers to deliver racks of Small Diameter Bombs to multiple targets and it makes for a meat grinder. OOC: I guess so but the fortifications are well built to survive anything but a direct hit and any aircraft coming in would have met my anti-aircraft batteries but anyway I don't want to yell about it. Just waiting for the new surrender terms.
Maelstrom Vortex
ooc: If someone doesn't come up with them soon I'll get them down for you. The Bombers do not have to cross into your airspace. The TIAMATs are stand-off ordinance. They are fired well outside the range of air-to-air ordinance and radar coverage using GPS guidance and laser designation combinations provided by ground forces to find their targets. I noted earlier there was a disturbing lack of Dragonisian Aircraft in the battle space, this is why. They do not have to cross into your airspace to hit their targets. The fighters are escorting the bombers in case you cross into our airspace, but you never noted that you were you seem to be on defense. And yea surrender terms would be nice though I think the old ones were fine.
Maelstrom Vortex
ooc: I've no idea what my brother's aircraft are going to be doing in their particular airspace. I can only speak to mine.
king of cochin
RCAF units are patrolling only the region occupied by Dragon Empire forces for now. They are under orders not to breach the airspace over Pax Pacis held areas.
sir jesus
OOC: Yeah, I was hoping everyone would RP the border battle. If you weren't surrendering I'd insist we go back and have a real battle take place. Melvin Republic aircraft will fly on the periphery of the DMZ, but will avoid it when possible. Subtleknifewielder
Upon confirmation that the airspace was no longer Pax Pacis territory, the aircraft retreated. Even under the threat of fire, they did not retreat until confirmation of that fact was recieved.
