king of cochin
First of all Dragon Empire denies the reports that any of their troops are responsible for this brutal massacre. We request Khmer Empire to share with us evidences or proofs to imply Dragon Empire's hand in this. A diplomatic mission is on its way right now to confer with Khmer Empire government. To Pax Pacis we request that they do not jump to any conclusions before having the matter sorted out. To fellow Dragon Empire constituents we suggest that we do not match up our readiness for our conventional forces as that may give a hostile impression to our neighbors. We however do suggest that our border defenses may raise their readiness and borders be closed until further information is developed. May we ask what reasons led you to suspect us of this crime?" "It was quite easy general. The town is with in raiding distance of the DE border. Also all reports are pointing to the perpetrators to having used Empire Guns and uniforms. Also all traces lead back to them crossing back across the DE border. So yes it was quite easy to assume the DE had done the act on the grounds of us refusing to fall to your assimilating, culture killing war machine." "Your Excellency, we must object to this conclusion. First of all we have and never had any intention of assimilating your or any other nation's territory. Anybody can quite easily procure uniforms or weapons similar to those Dragon Empire armies. We repeat all our military units are accounted for and are under our strongest control. There is no possibility that they might have gone rogue or done such a thing. Moreover killing of unarmed people is punishable with death under our Court Martial. To your arguments we present the following counter. If we really had the motive of assimilating your nation why would we ever do such a ghastly thing? Ours is a professional military force and crimes of this nature are abhorred by me and my fellow brothers and sisters in uniform. Such a ghastly act is bound to be rightly criticized by the world and no invading nation would ever resort to such a stupid measure. We would also like to ask what possible result would we have expected by doing such a cowardly act? If we were indeed to assimilate your nation would we not have deployed more troops to your borders or increased the readiness? In fact as you may have noticed even despite the provocative actions and statements by Khmer Empire and Pax Pacis we have neither increased our readiness nor have we deployed additional units. Would we ever do that if we intended to annex your nation? No. Your Excellency, it is our opinion that this act could have been conducted by forces hostile to both our nations. Rather than falsely accuse of wrongs we are innocent of , we suggest you increase your efforts to identify and apprehend the real criminals. Dragon Empire shall offer any possible help in the apprehension of these criminals." Four battlegroups, named Alpha, Bravo,Charlie and Delta, have now made it to the border with the Dragon Empire. king of cochin
The last thing the perplexed Brig. General did before dying was to press the alert button on his PDA through which he had being communicating to Dragon Empire Military Command. The aides who had accompanied the General could do a bit more in alerting Dragon Empire. Through the voice link they maintained with the orbiting MERAT they passed on the information before dying themselves. In the MERAT, the Sergeant manning the communications cringed on hearing the bullets hitting the bodies and finally he heard the last groans of 10 dying men. After the shock wore off he alerted the pilots, "Code Red , Code red. Start evasive measures, the diplomats have been killed." The MERAT which was already in Gulf of Tonkin raced to reach Dragon Empire skies, because they were already quite near to Khmer Empire air space and at any moment hostile jets could be inbound against which the jet had only negligible defenses. Behind the $@pit in the comms bay the Sergeant was informing the Dragon Empire Military Command and the RCDF General Staff Command, as it as an RCA officer that was murdered. king of cochin
Royal Cochin Defense Forces are mobilizing to to Khmer Empire borders. We call upon a regime change in Khmer Empire and a formal apology for the crime of murder of diplomats. If these demands are not met, we shall summon the entire might of Dragon Empire to wage total war against Khmer Empire's military and government and the territory shall be made into a protectorate. We call upon Pax Pacis to refrain from joining this war.
