Executive Minister
Here is my nation What am I doing wrong? My tax collection is $443,178.96 while my infra bill is $508,830.75 alone!!! I used to be a part of the Beer, Autos, Ashpalt, Construction, Microchips, Radiation clean up, steel circle, before our iron/gold player got deleted. Why is my net income negative 60K +?? Thank you for your help - The EM
WolfsPride
You need to get yourself some Labor Camps. It will cut your Infra bill in half. Definatly work on your resources too
Baldr
It does seem odd, as I would have thought you would easily turn a profit with your setup. Makes sure your tax rate is as high as it will go, and get another trade for that open slot.
Vespassianus
A water+marble trade won't hurt, you would get the best trade set for your size with those 2 resources intel agency is useless, swap it for a factory or a clinic.
Duncan King
When you lost your marble water trade, you lost the infra reduction in your build that construction gave you, so you are paying regular price for infra. Getting that trade back should be a high priority for you. For now, you can get labor camps to pay bills but don't collect taxes with them. Edit: this guy has bad trades, try to get him: http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...ation_ID=328135 Edited July 16, 2009 by Duncan King
Decomposition
There is no way that your bills should be higher than your income - -perhaps you have not paid bills in a few days? Also, get rid of that intelligence agency and replace with something giving you a population or income boost (and definitely get those labor camps). Ronnie Coleman
Improvement Swap The basics of Improvement Swapping (as I understand it) Labor Camps, they decrease your infra costs (50% decrease with 5 camps) but also decrease the amount of money you get in taxes per citizen. So you want to have camps while paying bills, but not when collecting taxes. So the first thing you need to do is to make sure you have enough money to pay your bills for the duration of owning labor camps (5 days, 10 days, 15 days, 19 days depending on how you want to do it.) Second trash the 5 'least important' improvements you have (most alliances have some sort of guide as to what order you should buy improvements in). You now replace those 5 improvements with 5 labor camps. Third, only pay bills for the length of time you've chosen, do not collect taxes. Finally, at the end of the cycle, trash your labor camps, buy back the original improvements and collect taxes. I'm not an expert on it so I don't know if 1k infra is a good time to start or not. Hope that helps you a bit
