Style #386 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Share Posted July 9, 2009 Sometimes old friends drift apart, and sometimes two alliances find that the relationship between the two no longer merits the treaty held. As such, Invicta and ODN have downgraded their MDP to a PIAT. I hereby announce A Horse of a Different Colour. A Horse of a Different Colour: A Peace, Intelligence, and Aid Treaty by and between Invicta and Orange Defense Network Preamble To affirm our continued appreciation for one another, Invicta and ODN agree to the following: Article One Invicta and ODN recognize one another as sovereign alliances and will treaty each other and its members with the appropriate respect in all public areas. Efforts will be taken by both sides to maintain consistent and productive dialogue. Article Two Members of Invicta and ODN agree to not attack one another. In the event one alliance's nation attacks a nation belonging to the other alliance, both alliances shall order the attacking nation to offer peace and reparations within 24 hours. Should the attacking nation refuse to comply, the offending nation's alliance shall remove the nation from their ranks and commence retaliatory strikes alongside the other alliance. Article Three Members of Invicta and ODN agree to share intelligence critical to the other alliance's safety. They also agree to not conduct espionage on one another. Article Four In the event of an unprovoked attack against either alliance, the targeted alliance may contact the other and request financial assistance. Such assistance is not required as per this treaty but generally encouraged, and rejection of an offer shall not be considered grounds for immediate termination of this treaty. Article Five Members of Invicta and ODN agree to host a huggle-fest during broad daylight in Penn Valley Park. As areas of this park are visible from the interstate, all attendees are expected to maintain a degree of decorum. The only beverages permitted are Boulevards, tap water or orange-flavored drinks contained in a clear, durable plastic bottle, or store-brand colas in aluminum cans. Both alliances agree to strive that all materials used are biodegradable or reusable, all foods consumed involve orange cake and are as close to certified organic as possible, and all ground transportation is powered with alternative fuels, such as ethanol, biodiesel, or Ivan Dominguez. The use or mere presence of plastic bags at this event are strictly prohibited. Further, the mentioning or inviting to this event Clay Chastain or Frances Semler is strongly discouraged, as is the dissemination of any happenings of this event to the local CBS and MyNetworkTV affiliates. Article Six This treaty, upon ratification, shall last until such time that one or both parties believe this treaty is no longer necessary. In that case, advance notice of 72 hours is required before formally dissolving this treaty. In the event violations of Articles Two or Three are unresolved sufficiently, this treaty may be dissolved without advance notice. No matter where we hide the emergency keys, he always find them It's sad that our relationship no longer merits the MDP that we once had, but I think the future is bright for both of us, and thats what we have to concentrate on.
