Cody Seb
The States The Mississippi Confederation has 3 states; Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana. They are all culturally tied to an extent, but also each have a cultural identity all their own. The State level of government Hierarchy is very important in the Mississippi Confederation. While the central government has absolute control over war, foreign policy and things of that nature, the state is able to dictate most of its own internal affairs and laws. Cody Seb
The Confederated Ground Forces The Confederated Ground Forces operate as the main Ground Force and Military Response for the Mississippi Confederation. Upon formation, it was agreed that the central government would have sole control over the entirety of the military. This was to avoid the slowing effect of organizing three seperate militaries into one effective response. Infantry: Standard Infantry Tactical Body Armor Standard Infantry Tactical Body Armor affords prtection of all vital areas. These include the head, neck, chest, abdomen, groin, thighs, shins, deltoids, forearms, elbows and knees. Hardened communications gear are standard with each unit. The visors also include multiple vision modes. All units also protect against biological attacks and agents, as well as moderately protect against nuclear radiation. [i.e. This means that a soldier wearing Standard Infantry Tactical Body Armor can fight in an irradiated area for several hours before having to evacuate.] There are also many styles of camoflague. Pictureed above is the standard Urban camoflague design. Others are Desert, Jungle, Forest, Tundra and Winter. Standard Secret Service Tactical Body Armor The only difference between Standard Secret Service Tactical Body Armor and Standard Infantry Tactical Body Armor is that it has a different color scheme and thicker armor on the chest and abdomen. Secret Service are tasked not only with guarding high-profile government officials, but also with guarding important government sites. Standard Infantry Rifle- C36 + C36S [Carbine] The C36 is a clone of the famous G36 rifle, save for its cartridge. In order to gain superior stopping power without significantly sacrificing muzzle velocity or accuracy. The answer was to chamber the 6.8mm round, a compromise between the popular 5.56x45mm round and the 7.62x39mm round used by the AK-47. The result was a rifle with surprising versatility and flexibility. The C36 also has a carbine variant, the C36S [short]. Cody Seb
National Wonders and Important National Improvements National Wonders New Orleans Stock Exchange The Kansas City Stock Exchange is the pinnacle of the Confederate economy. Almost as much of a symbol of accomplishment as it is of economic success, the Kansas City Stock Exchange is the central hub for all trading in the Confederacy. It has helped transform Kansas City into the financial capital of the Confederacy and has attracted much international business to the country. Important National Improvements Banks There are 5 major banks within the Confederacy: Great Southern, Mississippi National Bank, Harper and Howell Banking, Guarantee Bank and Liberty Bank. Hospitals (Clinics) There are 5 major hospital organizations in the Mississippi Confederation. They are Cox Health, St. John's Hospital, Hoffenburg Health, Nebraska Health Organization and St. James Medical. National Hospital (Hospital) The largest and most advanced hospital in the Confederacy is the North Kansas City Hospital, in Kansas City East, MO. It boasts the latest in Confederate health and medical technology. It is also home to the lab where most of the advancements are born. Cameron Drydock Cameron Drydock is a naval base in Cameron, LA. Classified- North Island, Marsh Island and Mandeville Shipyards The shipyards at North Island, Marsh Island and Mandeville, LA are the sites of building and docking of the most advanced ships in the Confederate Navy. New Orleans Harbor New Orleans Harbor by far the largest harbor in the Confederacy. It handles large percentages of imports and exports from the nation, being at the mouth of the Mississippi and the entrance to the Gulf of Mexico. Embassy Row (Foreign Ministry) Embassy Row is located in downtown St. Louis and is of course home to the housing and relations complexes of foreign diplomats to the Confederation. Department of Overwatch Field Offices (Intelligence Agencies) The Department of Overwatch has two field offices, one in St. Louis and another in Little Rock. The Department of Overwatch can be likened to the CIA or other intelligence departments in other nations. American Football Stadiums As of now, there are five American Football stadiums in the Mississippi Confederation. The following is a list of stadium locations and teams; Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams, New Orleans Saints, Omaha Prowlers and the Little Rock Bulls. State Universities (Schools) Because of the structure of the nation as a confederacy, there are two levels of universities, State level and National level. State schools are equivalent to state schools in other nations while National schools are equivalent to Ivy League schools and other especially prestigious universities. The five State Universities are the University of Nebraska, the University of Kansas, Missouri State University, the University of Arkansas and Louisiana State University.
