Maelstrom Vortex
People are marching through the streets of the City of Dragonisia shouting anti-Yamato slogans.. calling for intervention against the belligerence of the Yamato people against the Empire of Lu and numerous other nations as well as against their policies of ethnic purification. Fueling this crisis are viral videos on the EmpireTube.com (ooc: think our version of you tube.) which splice past Yamato transgressions with the work of a popular pro-human rights artist. The Chairman was really feeling the heat for his hands-off approach as the Congress voted unanimously to condemn Yamato as calls for a policing action against the Japanese state echoed through the state hall. ooc: RIP MJ. Sargun II
Artemis would like to point out that as Yamato continues an aggressive path against Asia, people give them second chances that they had blown years earlier. The Kyokujitsujin people are warmongers, aggressors and ethnic cleansers - the last nation to fit this description was wiped from the Earth. Yet nobody takes a stand here and only calls for talk and diplomacy when it has already been shown talk and diplomacy do not work.
Maelstrom Vortex
"Death to the Nazi Fascist pigs!" Was shouted through the crowds as boots stomped through the streets, over turning cars and throwing over garbage cans on their way to sit outside the capitol.. KaiserMelech Mikhail
We hope that our neighbors will be able to contain this demonstration. We wish to remain a peaceful nation, and do not want this violence spreading into our cities.
Maelstrom Vortex
"As far as we can tell.. the demonstrations are so far contained to being directed at our capitol and regional capitols. We do not anticpate that this has any reason to spread or will to spread to other neighboring states."

We pray for the safety of your citizens, but are confident that you will be able to end the protests quickly.
Maelstrom Vortex
"We're not moving to crush the protests. Our citizens have a right to express and demonstrate as they wish. We're keeping first responders out in case all the hubub results in any medical crisi.. people get so emotional."
Maelstrom Vortex
The chants began to change over night, "Give them liberty! Or give us death! I will fight for their freedom!" "Freedom from the tyranny of ignorant rule!" "Death to the Provocateurs!" "Down with Yamato!" As part of the protests, music had begun to be played by those in the crowd and some artists had begun to show up to stir the heart of the nation.... Music such as this played by the Dragonisian National Orchestra. Edited July 7, 2009 by Maelstrom Vortex
