If it was not for the Lady Protector this nation may have become one of many violent nations but luckily we were saved. However, our orginal dream of being without weapons or an army whilst noble is foolish as it only gives us the look of someone who says a lot but doesn't back it up with actions. Peace by negotiation is what we wish but sometimes people must be enforced. It is for that reason that the Pax Pacis armed forces will instead by formed into the Pax Pacis defense force. Charged with the protection of our nation and of providing peace keeping units for world wide conflicts we hope this will not only redeem ourselves in the world's eyes but to also advance the cause of peace". Also included here is the operating protocal for the PPDF: The Operating Protocal of the Pax Pacis Defense Force Invasion of Pax Pacis In the case of invasion of Pax Pacis by hostile forces the Pax Pacis Defense Force is to engage and destroy the invaders until a peace accord is reached. All care should be taken to caring for all wounded regardless of faction, all Prisoners of War are to be cared and looked after for to the acceptable standards. Extreme care should be taken for fighting in or near to civilian centres of population. Peace Keeping Operations During the undertaking of Peace Keeping operations the utmost care and consideration is to be given to civilians in the operation area. Peace Keeping forces should not obstruct or engage Government Forces unless forces to do so to maintain peace. All efforts should be made to contain any situation without the use of lethal force. King Kevz Posted July 12, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 Construction has finished on the Pax Pacis shipyards at our newly aquired sea port and so extensive plans have been drawn up to construct the aircraft carriers ourselves, the government is putting a lot of resources and manual labour into building these vessels and Lady Kingswell has donated a large sum of cash to assist the government with the construction as well. Also with the conflict with the Dragon Empire over the new figures of the armed forces are as follows. King Kevz Posted July 16, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 16, 2009 With the Pax Pacis army in tatters a change in direction has been called for in the defense of the nation. UAVs will now be used in high numbers to patrol and combat threats on the Pax Pacis border. For observation we have both the "eagle" UAV and "rat" UGV which will be used to located and observe targets whilst "dragon" UAVs will be used to engage the enemy. Both the eagle and the dragon share a similar body with the eagle mounting camera and recording equipment whilst the dragon can be equipped with either a 10mm cannon or a single anti-tank missile for combating a different number of threats. The dragon UAV is also used to guard important personal of Pax Pacis. The rat on the other hand is based on a usual remote controlled car that is popular with children but is sized up with an extendable camera and recording equipment onboard. The plan is for a flame throwing tank to be produced which will be used to clear enemy fortified positions such as bunkers and houses. Its primary theatre of war is in the urban enviroment. IC: Today marks a great day for the Pax Pacis defense force as massive efforts from the construction workers in Vinh have meant that not just one but both aircraft carriers have been completed and are now having their crew flown over to them so they can start their sea trials. New equipment has been issued to them and the research and development branch has already began work on developing the same weapons that the Dragon Empire used against us. Long as the government maintains peaceful relations with the Empire they may refuel and take harbor in the ports at cost in Dragonisia. The offer is appreciated but currently we possess the town of Vinh within Khmer territory as it was gifted to us as part of our agreement.
