JEDCJT
CLASSIFIED An aircraft descended upon a runway at an airport somewhere in Taiwan. But it was no ordinary aircraft; it was an New Englander aircraft, with a small New Englander flag marked on the sides. When the aircraft slid to a steady halt, the doors opened and several figures walked out. General Dwight D. Eisenhower and a group of military advisors descended upon the stairway as they made their way to the Taiwanese delegation waiting at the ground. Eisenhower smiled as he approached the Taiwanese. “Hello, sirs. It is good to meet with you. We have come here for business regarding military…is there a place where we can discuss it further?” Edited July 2, 2009 by JEDCJT
Ezequiel
'Hello Mr. Eisenhower, Yes there is. Please follow me into the Palace where we can talk more in the conference room.' Said Mr. T'aisheda, Minister of Defence for The Taiwanese Empire. Once in the conference room, they all sat down. 'Now, let us get down to business here, shall we? I have invited you here to help us in building our military, we are lacking factories and companies to help design new weapons and such. What would you have in mind to help us out here Mr. Eisenhower?'
JEDCJT
Eisenhower smiled as he placed his briefcase on the table and opened it; the military advisors did the same. He pulled out several documents and slid them across the table to Mr. T’aisheda. “We have several propositions regarding the defense of Taiwan, so to say. One way is that we can arrange for our companies and industries back in New England to produce military goods and equipment for your army, of which will be sent over to Taiwan. Or we can establish military-production companies/industries here in Taiwan, with your permission, where we can do the same. It is up to you, of course.” Eisenhower explained. “As you may be aware, the documents detail not only the benefits of such an agreement, but also our military doctrine and procedures. We believe that they will greatly benefit Taiwan’s military.” Eisenhower continued, as the military advisors gave several documents to the Taiwanese. “The advisers and I personally, will help you to establish the military as an effective fighting force. And perhaps we can enter into a deal where we can supply you with our arms (weapons, vehicles, etc), providing you blueprints to such.” Eisenhower smiled, his eyes twinkling. Ezequiel
Mr. T'aisheda mumbled around with his Deputy and the other Taiwanese Generals. 'Well, that is quite a deal. We would like for you to establish companies and industries here in Taiwan, as that would be better for our economy and also would save on shipping costs. We really like these plans you have here, they seem to highlight every part of Taiwan, that would need defence and it seems as we would be utterly untouchable.' 'Now, what else do you have to show us, Mr. Eisenhower?'

'Now, what else do you have to show us, Mr. Eisenhower?' Eisenhower smiled and nodded. "Yes, we do, in fact, have one more thing to show you." He nodded at one of the advisors, who pulled out a document and slid it across the table. "This document details border defense and fortification plans, so to say." (OOC: Remember that PM? ) "Other than that, I think we have everything else covered."
Ezequiel
Mr. T'aisheda looks over the document with his Deputy and the Generals. 'This seems to be a suburb fortification for the defense of Taiwan. Let us bring these into reality, shall we?'

He said as he closed his briefcase and stood up. The advisors did the same. "Is there any chances we can share these information with your Military High Command?" The General inquired. Ezequiel
'Actually, you just did.' He said with a smile and a slight chuckle. 'You wouldn't mean the Emperor himself, would you? If so, we may visit him if you so wish.' Edited July 3, 2009 by Ezequiel

Ezequiel
Mr. T'aisheda gets up, along with his deputy and generals and leads the New England Government to the Emperor's office. They walk in after knocking and meet the Emperor. 'Good day Nebu, this is General Dwight D. Eisenhower of New England, they are here about our call for help. Mr. Eisenhower, this is Emperor Nebu the II.' After shaking hands, they all sit down and start to talk. 'Ah, good to meet you Mr. Eisenhower. I was watching in on the conference, I really like your blueprints, they are suburb if I do say so myself. Now, how will we do this, will you be doing all the work with Taiwan paying for it, or what would happen?' Said Nebu.

OOC: Eisenhower isn't a part of the government, he only heads the military, that's all. IC: Eisenhower remained silent as he mulled over his response. "Hm, how about we both do the work. We can help you, you can help us, and the like. That way, no one can do all of the work while the other does nothing." Eisenhower joked.
