Agostinho Neto Posted July 1, 2009 Report Share Posted July 1, 2009 An automobile factory in Milan RAI Radio Televisione Italiana MILANO - The country’s import-export of goods and services are expected to pick up in the coming weeks — reversing a sharp contraction since last month — as the national economy starts recovering from a crippling recession, Minister of Corporate Economy and Trade, Angelo Tarchi, commented. There have been encouraging signs of an import-led recovery, pointing as an example automobile industry and construction companies who have reportedly started recovering the lost orders they have incurred at the height of the national economic slowdown. More importantly, the Minister noted that the technology industry appears to be gaining ground again. “This is good news because this is our number one export,” he said.
