This is an OOC thread for East Africa. Keep all OOC here or SpacingOutMan will exblope!

OOC: Firestorm, you're ignoring my scout troops attacking your front lines in the Nation of Nod, I feel hurt!

Nah, but do consider 'em and try to play out how it works by ear. Also, this is the place for all OOC in that thread, as much as things have really taken off, don't consider the battle done by any stretch. You may be winning the war in the northern section of the Aether Empire, but you have not yet won the war.

It also doesn't affect things now because I already agreed to it... But I had a question for the DE. If you can wipe out tons of defense platforms and find them rapidly like you have, why was my static defense worse then a mobile one? Couldn't you have easily, no more easily, found a giant submarine floating with a region height shift vastly above the original ocean (as in a giant peak that looked like a long metal tube). I mean, a sub is already slow, so if I did have subs there instead of actual defense units, why would they be harder to find and kill then the defense units. (Also, wouldn't RADAR used by satellites to make such measurements be too large in wavelength and just scatter off the targets?)

I mean, if what you are arguing is correct, it would seem that sub warfare would be useless as the entire advantage of subs (their stealth) is the same advantage of my system and you seemed to all out consider it a null point. Subs move, that about all they have as an advantage, and they are basically standing still compared to what you shot at my units (anti-sub cruise missiles). So in the future, if I upgraded to subs with say a Tech level 1500 nation, would you just be able to cruise missile those into extinction in the same manner and I other people's entire sub fleets, their stealth meaning nothing?

Just some thoughts.

I didn't ignore them so much as miss them entirely.

Take the time to break your posts up into blocks that are directed at specific people for specific actions. That way it is easier to keep track of what you are doing.

Were they advancing or defending?

Either way my attack was spearheaded by scout cars and mechanized infantry who moved forward to identify points of resistance. Once identified the points were to be hit by either helicopters or artillery.

After wading through your posts (Zarfef) I determined you sent in from what I can tell two forces. One from the sea and one from what seems to be towards the western part of Somal. Either way if I'm wrong about the directions my counterattacks are directed at those two forces.

I've addressed both intrusions and my responses are based upon the previous roleplay I've done with the development of my resistance cells.

In the future, please be sure to put some sort of bolded text or something to signify an actual attack. It took me forever to figure out what you were talking about.

I'm willing to accept it despite being massively confused about the sequence of events. I'm not thrilled about it as I believe it reinforces bad role play by allowing dialogue to be construed as physical movement. However, my actions were very deliberate and clearly posted so I'm more than willing to live by the consequences of them.

LOL Yeah I really need to start improving my RP style of writing.

In the future I should take up the following, you guys agree?

XYZ CHARACTER:

(Implies spoken words)

random stuff

(Implies narration)

:random stuff:

(Implies event)

:random stuff:

(Implies military action)

random stuff

(Implies why I decided to use the strategy and think it has a rats chance in Antartica of working)
