Razgriz 2K9 Posted June 29, 2009 Report Share Posted June 29, 2009 Imran Zakhev had fallen ill since the Mariehamm War, his son, Victor was killed while inspecting Yuke military forces protecting Brisbane when the chemical attack hit. Zakhev has since been confined to his death bed, waiting for the time where he would eventually join his wife and son in heaven. He thinks back to the times when he was a revolutionary fighting the corrupt isolationst government known as the Yuktobanian Democratic Republic, who tried to repress any and all freedom of speech. With the help of friends and a pair of Belkan Mercenaries. They were able to sucessfully launch a coup that overthrew the government. With his friends he helped turn a isolationist dictatorship to a regional power in the Russian Far East. Zakhev turned to his aides, finally saying, "Send a message to Ms. Reznov...." He reaches his hand to his aide, "Tell her....to run this country well.......I entrust the future of our country to her now........and i'll see my family again." IC: An official statement from the Government of Yuktobania Today is a somber day for the Yuktobanian SFSR, today the Prime Minister of Yuktobania, Imran Zakhev has passed away at 10 pm today. In his last act before his death, Zakhev has named Yuktobanian Foreign Minister, Catherine Reznov, as acting Prime Minister until the July elections. Razgriz 2K9 Posted June 30, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 30, 2009 Catherine Reznov returned to Yuktobania from her trip from Brisbane. She had already recieved the news about Zakhev's death and rushed quickly back home to Cinigrad. Once at Cinigrad International Airport, Reznov quickly went to the Coroner's Office in the Northern part of the city, where Zakhev was resting. As Reznov made it in, she looked at the lifeless body with a sad face. Tears ran down her face, but she did not want to break down in cry. Both he and his son will be missed dearly, and monuments in Brisbane will be set up to the everlasting friendship between the Hansa and Yuktobania that he created. Today at 6:00 Vladiovostok Time, Catherine Reznov, then Yuktobanian Foriegn Minister, has taken the oath of office and has assumed the rights and responsibilities as Prime Minister of Yuktobania. An official statement from the new Prime Minister... "Though we are sad and continue to greave over the death of a great leader, we thank those people, both in Yuktobania and abroad, for helping us through our troubled times, for giving us happiness when there were none left.
