A New Era

Recommended Posts

Oh I see, that's an insult. You must have been thinking up that one for hours.

I apologize if you felt insulted. I just read your comment as yet another one to insinuate that my alliance wants to become an aggressive power again (see Frostbite comment).

Here's a few clues to buy:

1. Didn't say it was a bad thing, indeed Joe Stupid and I go back to the days when ARES was a Ragnarok protectorate.

2. This looks like a solid economic treaty with much win.

3. You want to turn this into a MADP, I honestly could care less.

There are undeniable similarities between this treaty and the economic portion of BLEU. If you are unable to handle someone bringing it up, then why even create an economic cooperation treaty on Blue at all? Live long, prosper. Whatever.

I challenge you to write a Blue team trade treaty that does not resemble the economic portion of BLEU.

Maybe its just a purely economic treaty rather than a military bloc or something crazy like that?

Who knows?

...

(I doubt it's you)

I can understand why the Agora crowd wasn't able to get in on this, but FCO and 1TF seem like they would have fit well. o/ Blunity

Lifted from the wiki:

Blunity

ARES, GDA, Genesis, GR, IAA, NpO, NV, tLC, UINE

The rest of Blue

1TF, BRIG, Echelon, FCO, ICENI, IPA, MCXA, NADC, OcUK, TFD, TSO, UBD, USB, YUC

Though the wiki is occasionally outdated, and perhaps it is missing a few other Blue alliances.

You guys got some work ahead of you. Thanks for the list Penguin.

Awesome stuff, congrats to our Blue allies and the rest of you as well.

For curiosity sakes anyone know off hand which Blue alliances are not part of this?

Avalanche (75%+ Blue), which is surprising considering they have MDoAP's with both GR & NV who are both part of this.

Yes, one wonders whether the Blue team would be allowed a trade forum without being accused of plotting world domination. Good thing we have ChairmanHal's awesome predictive power to express what everyone else must be wondering.

Come on Penguin, Hal's got this one right. It's pretty clear we're plotting world domination. Trades are merely a first step towards his own eventual subjugation and enslavement at our invincible hands.

Or, maybe we just need tech. That could be it.

In the absence of taking meetings with Polaris government (the kind that only Polaris government members get to take), we'll have to take your word as to the motivations for Polaris entering into Frostbite. Grub may contradict you, but I doubt it.

However, let's roll back the clock a couple of years. If I told you that a bloc would form that had the current leadership of Frostbite in it and that bloc would include Polaris, you're telling me that it wouldn't at least give you pause as an outsider? You'd have to be oblivious or too distracted to care not to at least have an eyebrow raised.

All that said, Valhalla considers Polaris to be a friend. That's good enough for me.

One that wouldn't draw even a single comment of comparison? Won't happen. Blue Team and BLEU were virtually synonymous for so long it's impossible, even if you labeled it in bold, 72 point type "THIS ISN'T BLEU".

My previous comment holds: go about doing your business and what works for you and don't let people who bring up BLEU stop you. Not if this is indeed a "New Era".
