Sargun II
Edit: Looking at the votes I believe the vote has failed as it has not achieved and most likely will not achieve the required 75% to pass OOC: Abstain means that it doesn't count as no. So if it's 2-0-2, it's really 2/0. They'd only need two more yesses to pass.

Sabioviejo
The Sverige representative wishes to exemplify that Sverige still supports blocking trade with Italy, we despise fascisms and its treatment of people. However, this should not lead to internal CEU conflicts. Its up to the parties in question to solve the issues. We should move as one on this issue, if we are divided over this issue that first needs to be solved before we can move on and either blockade Italy or not. Centurius
For the abstains we wish to remind you that expelling me breaks the only link between the CEU and the Southern Triangle creating a rift in European politics. We are willing to make amends with Bavaria regarding the city and block in the form of compensation for the money lost and approach the table on the North Italy issue. If the Southern Triangle is a problem we wish to clarify the need for it. North Italy has proven in the past it will attack it's southern neighbor if it is supported by a bigger power, as we were personally approached for invasion plans in Nordland. With the current situation where North Italy is protected we fear a future strike the Southern Triangle allows us to ensure the independence of South Italy. As of this moment the ban from Croatian territory to Bavarian vessels has been withdrawn Edited July 31, 2009 by Centurius

Sabioviejo
If you want do act on Italy you will have to discuss it in the CEU, before you move on it. But you moved so quick that people never got a chance to work out anything. Sverige is supporting blockades, but only with the full weight of the CEU behind it, not single nations going rogue and blockading all of Italy and thus upsetting allies. If this rushed moves will lead to you being expelled from the CEU then is that the fault of the CEU or the fault of Greater Croatia?

Neither as it isn't a justification for expulsion, while we admit we have acted fast you must see the reasons. Italians are direct family of Greater Croatia in the past we have either been occupied or in contact with Italy most citizens still see them as relatives, heck there are families separated by the border when one sees his family killed on takes action to defend it. We could not stand by. But as we have recently stated we are willing to officially enter blockade discussions on neutral land. Most in the coalition agree as we have all send ambassadors to Berlin. Centurius
We will keep the liberty to ourselves, the Empire of Greater Croatia hereby resigns it signature from the Central European Union keeping in account the 72 hour mandatory non-agression clause. Seeing as the pact does not enforce the flow of trade for the period all CEU nations with the exceptions of those we have separate treaties with will not be alowed through Croatian land without receiving the proper permits Edited July 31, 2009 by Centurius
