"From all we have seen, České království is both hostile, and clings tightly to the old Nordland. We cannot in good spirit allow them to enter into the Union. That said, unless they give some excelent reason to us why they should be admitted, we vote no."

"I fail to see how we have exhibited either one of those traits."

The Republic of the United Netherlands is considering participating as an associated (partial) member. Without voting rights or a (possible) future common currency but is willing to set up a customs union with the CEU and keep our currency at a fixed rate with the other member states .

Before any future steps can be made there will be need for a federal referendum so at this moment the hands of the government of the United Netherlands are tied.

Yes. The Alliance doesn't see how České království has been hostile, and we don't really care what their cultural connections are, thats an internal matter and is not of importance to us. We know many of you may find the internal policies or culture of concern to you, but our indifference stems from our history of non-interventionist policy that dates back to our founding; so in respect of our traditions we must deviate from some of the others in the group on this point. We also express support for Sverige's petition for membership.

Of course pending the result we will commence voting.

"The Kingdom of Poland shall be making an announcement soon that we shall be incorporating the CSSR into the Kingdom. Historically the region has been apart of the Kingdom in its Golden Age, so we are asking the CEU to support this move as it will help the CSSR region rebuild and grow under Polish rule."

OOC: Considering the nature of this topic, I do not see this as a grave dig. In RP perspective, the members were "on break".

Prussia would advocate a CEU protectorate region be placed over the area until a legitimate government in the Former Crimean/Ukrainian domain forms.

Greater Croatia seconds this motion, the land has never been friendly towards Slavorussia nor Poland in any incarnation.

The Honorable Prussian Diplomat hereby issues a decree for the assembly to vote upon.

Be it acknowledged that the former Crimean Soviet Socialist Republic (C.S.S.R.) has fallen into anarchy. We, the states of the Central European Union, formed to a commitment to stability in the entire European Continent recognize that the mounting events precipitating to the fall of the C.S.S.R. and the resulting movements made by the Slavorussian and Polish governments will only act to destabilize the region.

The CEU, recognizing these issues, hereby places the C.S.S.R under a protectorate status as defined by the charter of the CEU. Peacekeeping forces--neutral to those of the Polish and Slavorussians--are to be dispatched to the former C.S.S.R. and will remain until the following objectives have been met.

I. Return of Order to all C.S.S.R. regions

II. Establishment of a Legitimate and local government within the former Ukraine and Crimean lands.

III. Establishment of physical security and stability within the successor state(s).

The Prussian diplomat sat down and motioned to the chair that voting should begin immediately.

Following again more crimes against humanity by the fascist regime in Italy Greater Croatia would like to propose a CEU-wide sanction on all diplomacy and trade with them until the Government changes to a more European one. If needed the Croatian Navy is willing to execute a full naval blockade.

We vote in favor. We'd like to add that all protectorates of CEU members in Europe should be turned into CEU protectorates.

We vote in favor. (Note, we already executed the stipulations laid down in this proposal on our own.)

The Republic of Euzkadi would like to formally ask for partial membership within the CEU.

We vote in favor. Welcome my friend :).
