NAPO Accords Vote

We agree with the Aether Empire, in order to keep anarchy out of the African regions we must band together to protect those peoples who leaders have abandoned.

An additional 6,000 troops are being deployed on the northern red sea coast to secure that region from the former ISoA, also our Eagle's are now making sweeps across the region with the AEmpire for the same reasons.

In accordance to the NAPO accords to prevent colonialism in Africa it is requested that action be taken to deal with Roachin's encroachment into Africa. Roachin, while a neighbor to Africa, inhabits the Arabian Peninsula and is not considered a member of the African community.

We ask for the following:

1) Pledges of troops to support the removal of Roachin's troops.

2) A Vote to embargo Roachin should they refuse to comply.

OOC: Just wondering... how is he not culturally connected to that territory? He boarders it; that entire area probably has way more cultural similarity to him than it does to west Africa. Sudan, Egypt, somalia, yenya, and all down that eastern cost and eritrea are largely populated by Arabians, the major religion is Islam, there is a lot of trade between them, they dress similar; they historically both in RP and RL were ruled by the same groups, they eat similar food the similarities go on. The "continent" of Africa as you define it is the product European Cartographers who decided those pieces of land went together, the cultures and connections have absolutely nothing to do with that actual map label. Moreover Does not the rebel army hold Egypt and libya, and they are a member of your group? If anything that inconsistency proves that exceptions based on locations and similar cultural identity can be made. *shrugs*

We the Aether Empire condemn any military action against the nation of Raochin or the Nation of Nod. While there is no mutual defense pact currently in place, we consider an attack on either at this point in time to be an attack upon our own sovereign power. Furthermore, given it's importance to the resource of oil, and the trade routes of the Red and Gulf Seas along with Raochin coasts to the supply of oil to Asia, we fear that an attack upon their territory will result in a crippling blow to the Asian market that will soon resound around the world causing oil prices to soar above $300 a barell! Furthermore, given your lack of similar statements about Rebel Army (which has shown numerous "colony" style territories in Africa while being an Arabian counterpart, such as the space elevator and Egypt) we find your statement to be biased and unworthy of true support, especially given the consequences of such actions for the international community.

We assure Somal that given their proximity, we support the extension of their borders across the Red Sea so that the region remains one contiguous nation-state and will be a member of their country and not some "colony" as you are wrongfully disrepsecting it as. Therefore, we will continue to support their forces and the forces of the Nation of Nod in their continued annexation and removal of the enemies of civilization from this part of the world. So you can be sure, that you certainly cannot expect any aid from the Aether Empire in your frivolous demands.

The Arabian peninsula has always been considered a part of Africa. Every country inhabiting in the peninsula has always been close to either Rebel Army or one or more African nations, and there has been a deep-rooted African tradition deep in the peninsula for years. That you don't consider them part of the African community shows how ignorant you are of the history of Africa.

You sir are a cad, however, given a slew of factors the Republic of Free Somal will simply offer a largish whoops and leave it at that. However, we simply must insist that Evan Hiley agree to dance for us in his pink tutu again at our next New Year's Celebration.

We must agree with this fine comment here. Roachin's lands and people are no foreigners to Africa, and as such, we will not act against them regardless of the vote and results of this meeting.
