PATRIOT15
i've been playing CN for a couple months and recently i decided to stick with it my nations is growing rapidly because of trade aid and some money given for tech deals i have 420.00 infra. and about 50.00 tech after i send the rest to the buyer i just wanted to know if there was a 'balance' between infra. and tech i mean is there a time when i should just concentrate on tech? schmutte693
For now, up until you have about 3000 (or more) infra, you do not want to keep more than 50 tech on your nation at any given time. Eventually you will begin to purchase tech to keep for yourself, but that time is a good ways off. You will make FAR more money and grow FAR faster that way. Mipit
You should have 0 tech until you get 6k infra. And when someone buys tech, your buy 50 and then sell it. Thing is, are you a peacefull nation, aka, do you refuse to declare war for no reason?
PATRIOT15
i try to avoid war as much as possible
enderland
It would be a good idea to join an alliance as a new nation (you probably got 100 PMs about it ). They can help you learn what is the best bet and often have guides accessible to show exactly what to do.

enderland
Well you now know that nations without alliances can get randomly attacked, or what not. Alliances are good because as you will find out soon, tbe game of CN itself is really boring, but the interactions of the game politics or the alliance interactions are what really make CN enjoyable. Pikachurin
If you're a member of a trade circle that has bonus resources that need technology (for example, Construction, Microchips, Radiation Cleanup), you should have the required amount of technology in order to enable the bonus resource. Sanru
You should have 0 tech until you get 6k infra. And when someone buys tech, your buy 50 and then sell it. I would argue this. you should always have 50 tech until at least 3250 infra (different people have differing views on when to stop selling tech but they all say at least pass the 3k infra jump before switching). the way you keep 50 tech on hand at all times is to buy up to 50, then when you sell it off, immediately re-buy back to 50. since you are a tech seller, you will might as well reap the benefits of tech while you are holding it for the other nation. SilverHawk
Maintain enough Tech to max happiness granted from it and sell the rest in tech deals. You can start buying Tech yourself once you max 3 Mil after taxes.
Groucho Marx
And you can save some money buying tech in this fashion: buy: 4.5 buy: 10 buy: 10 buy: 10 buy: 10 buy: 5.5 = 50 it will cost $860K

Because there's a tech jump at 30.

enderland
Unless if you hit a tech jump I'm going to be honest, I cannot remember if there are jumps, I do not think there are but I've haven't bought significant amounts of tech in years
