Unsure Posted June 23, 2009 Report Share Posted June 23, 2009 #mushroom, #polaris, #paradox, and #iron all had +R set before the rash of bots started, and none of them got invaded. The reason I was given for #mushroom's +R was that it was an antibot measure; it seems this was, indeed, founded, as all of the non-+R channels I was in got invaded save #siberian_tigers, which had +s and was thus hidden. I don't remember if #nsa had +R before it started, but I know I saw quite a few bots in there. I don't think they ever actually spammed, though. Otherwise it'll just disappear when everyone else does. As someone else already said just place your channel mode to +s as well.
