Sargun II
OOC: Again, I used Sargun's own statement as a basis to base the damages on. OOC: I looked up what a power grid really was and apparently it's more than just power plants. alas, you RP'd minimal damage and I deserve that because I was mistaken on what I should have been targeting. I'll do some IC later when raritan/yort92 come on, I need to talk to them. /OOC

Raritan
***Private, Presidential Residence*** "Must they always insist on being the ones starting the wars!?!?!" ***Classified*** The Ardorian Military moves to DefCon 1, all military leaves are cancelled and reserves are called up. TF 21 will depart Mobile immediately and block all Atlantian vessels, civil are military, from passing into the Gulf of Mexico. TF 13 will blockade the entrance to the Chesapeake Bay and TF 11 will block the entrance into the Delaware Bay. Aircraft are ferried in to the Hampton Roads AF/NAS to support the aircraft already there. Troop numbers are increased along the partially completed border wall with the UAS. **Message to Ardoria**We request permission for troops to move through your territory, using only highways, and for planes to land at your northernmost airbases. The UAS has once again showed that they are committed to destabilizing America, and we must eliminate the threat. *Response* As per our agreement, Norfolk International Airport, Piedmont Triad International, and Raleigh Durham International Airport are open for use. Please note, however, that commercial traffic this time of year is especially high at Raleigh Durham, so Norfolk or Piedmont Triad would be more useful options. In addition, I-95 will be cleared for troop movements 2 hours before they occur should it be necessary. We are also moving a naval task force to block the strait between Xaristan and Tahoan Cuba. We have received reports that the Atlantians are moving ships south and we believe they are heading towards the Gulf.
Arkantos
OOC: I want spy odds. Also, this is the FIRST offensive war I've had. And air combat will be VERY intense in southern Virginia. The Constitution, Congress, and President are to set sail back to the coast due to threat of war with Ardoria. *Private Thoughts* So our allies turn on us too? Now is the time to get desperate... The southern part of the state. To Franz, on the first one, you declared on me for starting a police action in Curristan. The socnd one was honoring an MDP with Top Gun, and I didn't declare on you, just Dell Land.

Michael McBride
OOC: I asked for what air defense systems you had. You said AA guns. Guns are much different than missiles. So yes, I am asking specifics on what you have so you don't just throw something out there willy-nilly because you don't like what my planes are going to do. We have received reports that the Atlantians are moving ships south and we believe they are heading towards the Gulf. **Classified Response** We thank you for your hospitality. We have planes in the air over the Atlantic currently, so we will direct them to land at Norfolk. We will also be directing other planes over your airspace to land at Norfolk. We will compensate you for any damage that occurs to the airport, and any loss in business due to us using the airport. We are activating our two hour notice now. Tanks and troops will begin moving up the I-95 corridor in just over two hours. Again, any damage will be compensated for. Also, please coordinate with our local Coast Guard forces once you reach the strait. They may not be powerful, but they are excellent scout craft and can help distract and pester the UAS navy ships. OOC: Actually, we can't move foward at all, because I'll be gone for the next week. We might as well hold off till then. OOC: Yeah... hell no. You don't start a war and then go "oh, btw, I won't be here. Let's all wait kthnxbai." Doesn't work that way. Since you have again refused to tell us exactly what type of AA defenses you have, I am going to continue on as if you just had AA guns. Reference used here, giving you the most advanced AA guns the world had before turning to missiles. Note that even the biggest only had a maximum effective altitude of 57,000 feet. IC: The two bomber squadrons cruised along at 60,000 feet, ready to engage their targets. RADAR was clear, no bogies, no missile locks, nothing. The targets for the twenty four bombers were three of the eastern-most cities in the UAS, Washington D.C, Philadelphia, and Dover. Twelve bombers would converge on Washington, while six would head to Philadelphia and six to Dover. The priorities for the Dover and Philadelphia teams would be the destruction of the civilian airports and naval bases. In Washington, six bombers would work on the airports, three on the roads surrounding the capital, and three bombers would take aim at the capitol district itself, with prime targets including the Capitol Building, the White House, the Pentagon, and other monuments. The goal of those two bombers was to leave the city demoralized and in ruins. The 1st Bomber Squadron, callsign Monster, had the task of Philadelphia and Dover, while the 2nd Bomber Squadron, callsign Zombie, had the honor of laying Washington to ruins. Three squadrons of interceptors, consisting of the 1st Interceptor Squadron, callsign Black Knights, the 5th Interceptor Squadron, callsign Red Dawn, and the 13th Interceptor Squadron, callsign Steel, would escort the 2nd Bomber Squadron over Washington. The 2nd Interceptor Squadron, callsign Dueces, and the 7th Interceptor Squadron, callsign Shamrock, would escort the Philadelphia element of the 1st Bomber Squadron, while the 3rd Interceptor Squadron, callsign High Flight, would escort the Dover element. The 6th Assault Squadron of FB-66 Hellfire fighter/bombers, callsign Rock, would go with the 2nd Bomber Squadron and her escorts to Washington. Their job was to pound any AA guns that popped up to threaten their comrades. The 7th Assault Squadron, callsign Paper, was assigned to the Dover group, and the 8th Assault Squadron, callsign Scissors, was assigned to the Philadelphia group. The 7th and 8th both had orders to help knock down any AA fire along with providing close support against naval bases. "All Xaristani aircraft, this is Mission Control. You are green light. Repeat, green light to engage." "Roger that, Control. Black Knight Leader, out." Colonel Wesley Raab, decorated fighter pilot who had flown for all three previous incarnations of the nation currently known as Xaristan, keyed his mic. "You have your orders, everyone. Break into groups and head for your targets. Washington group Interceptors, after we escort our bombers back to Norfolk, we will head back to hold the door open for Philadelphia group. Fly back over the ocean, not over land, understood?" A wave of acknowledgments greeted him. "Good. Let's break them." The massive formation split off into their groups. The bombers of each group would cruise at 60,000 feet, with their interceptor escorts three thousand feet below and in front of them. The fighter/bombers were much more in range of heavy AA fire (120mm) as they cruised at 49,000 feet but varied their speed and position to make tracking them harder. Each group arrived at their intended target at approximately the same time and the bombers unleashed their armaments on their intended targets, dropping smart and cluster bombs, a massive shock and awe campaign designed to demoralize the government, military, and civilians of the UAS. As this bombing began, cruise missiles from Xaristan were launched, streaking into the air and east over the ocean. Due to not wanting to fire them over Ardorian territory, the trajectories were modified to use the planet's rotation to assist them. Five cruise missiles each were aimed at known military bases in the areas of Philadelphia, Dover, and Washington D.C. To the far south, Xaristani troops and takes made preparations to move northward. 700 Viper and 300 Black Widow MBTs were ready to charge northward, along with 12,000 troops in Bat APCs, and 35,000 other troops in unarmored vehicles and support/supply trucks. Supplies such as bombs, ammo, food, medical supplies, everything needed to sustain an army was being shipped up to forward staging areas in Ardoria. 100 Cobra LBT/AAPs, 100 MLRS units, and 75 artillery pieces were moved northward as well, creating a massive convoy heading up the I-95 corridor.
