Eggman Empire
Anthony Rawthorn was turning 62. In a secluded summer home, his family, close friends, and himself stayed and celebrated the fact that he had survived six decades and two years. Rawthorn had accomplished much. Being born of a middle class family, he graduated high-school at 17 and the head of his class. He then served in the Eggman Empire army for ten years, making the rank of First Sargent. Then, with the money he had earned, he enrolled in the country's top law school and earned a master's in both civil liberties and constitutional law. Now at the age of 35, he worked as a civil-liberties lawyer, creating a name for himself for another ten years. He then campaigned to join the Eggman Senate and won on his first go. He made a big name for himself by siding with men like Kuzma to oppose decrees, laws, and budget requests issued by Emperor Kintober. Rawthorn would occasionally side with the Emperor, but it was very rare, and the issue being pushed would benefit the country heavily. After Kintober had been assassinated, Rawthorn slowly lost interest in the senate, which was now answerable to MyKep of Forever Battlefield. Currently, the only thing on Rawthorn's mind was how to open the myriad of colorful presents in front of him. Behind him, an equally large pile of opened boxes containing shoes, clothing, knicknacks, reading material, and electronics sat. He reached over and pulled out a box from the present pile. It was large enough to hold a bowling ball, and weighed about as much too. On the tag it read "You'll figure out who its from when you open it." Intrigued, he tore off the paper and opened the box. He had no time to react before the machinery inside sprayed him with a toxic gas cloud. Rawthorn screamed and clawed at his forehead, as it he could somehow keep the poison from dissolving his face, eyes, and nose and mouth membranes. Even if he could stop it, he was a dead man. The toxin had entered his bloodstream and was already working on destroying his internal organs. Then, what some might have called a mercy at that point, the offending box exploded. Rawthorn, the box, a good deal of family and friends, and the entire side of the house were vaporized. -------------- Kintober nodded as he looked at the ruins of the house via a satellite he had in position. He pulled out his hit list and marked Rawthorn's name off. "That's number 6" he muttered.
